I've had two inductions, the first for pre e and the second was elective at 39 weeks. Hell, I'll probably do it again.

It's my body and if my doctor is okay with it, it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

I still had to technically have an induction because I stalled for so long. But that's a whole different thing because I was already in labor. Still had a csection though, but I'm fine with it :)

*high five* elective 39 week inductions! I had two and oddly, my induction due to medical reasons was the tough delivery.

Quoting Regina Phalange:" Seriously. If this was an established member no one would have said anything. In fact they usually tear people to shreds who want to be induced early. Interesting. "

Yes, I was thinking that too. LOL

The shitty thing is, I HAVE to be induced due to cholestasis of pregnancy. I would give anything to be able to go into labor on my own.

My body just refuses to go into labor on its own... with my first I made it almost all the way to my due date and had not even started to thin or dilate. I guess the dr. induced because they thought she was going to be bigger than she actually was. With my second I just would not go past 2 cm and the induction failed at almost 42 weeks... csection for my second one..

lmfao, sorry if you post ridiculous crap you get all kinds of advise, but if you see something disturbing and vent about it you get bashed, yeah everybody has the right to make there own choices and do what they want, and say what they want to about it, but for those who just want to say enough already were thrown in the drama corner. to the OP, I feel ya,but even I have wished a child to come out of me and pleaded with the doctor for help when I was a week late, it's natural to say hey I can't take it anymore, but I was not induced for the reasons you said, then after having to children 3 to 5 weeks early I am more than happy to suffer through the pain of this pregancy in hopes she takes her time and is born healthy

Man people are mean... It's all fine and dandy for everyone to voice your own opinions but telling someone hush and what not isn't necessary. If you didn't agree with what she had to say don't comment on it or don't be so mean! I guess that's what you get though when you put a bunch of hormonal women together Lol :)
