thats what i was thinking... that or the implanion but NuvaRing just sounds better all around to me.. but cost is also a factor i HAVE to consider

With my insurance I paid $75 and got 3 months at a time. With implanon remember its the same hormone as Mirena so the same side effects are a high possibility. I will never again have something inserted into my body that I can't take out myself.

Let me put it this way, the only good thing about it was the no period business. I felt like I was going crazy on it. It did so many things to me mentally and physically. I lost a ton of hair with it in. It's finally growing back now that it's been removed. I have the paragard in now (have had it for about 6 months) and love it. Have had no side effects what so ever!

I was the opposite. I felt instantly better. I was such a huge, violent btch on it. My mood changed so quickly

I LOVE my mirena. I have had it for a year now. No serious problems. Just a little mood swings.

It didnt hurt when i got it done. A little pinch.

Immediately after I felt amazing, like that day. Then I went through some type of withdrawal. I felt like I had a flu.

I've had it in for two months and I LOVE it :)
It hurt a little going in, but wasn't too painful

I've heard of a lot of people getting pregnant with the nuvaring though. But after seeing everyones posts about the mirena I'm thinking of trying to nuvaring 1st!
