He just attacked Jack, leaving bite marks on his forehead and fucking eyelid.

He's gone and I don't care what my husband says.

I am so fucking pissed.

He is out. Period.

Out before he gets home, and it will be an irrelevant fight.

Oh wow, that sucks. My cat has scratched my kids but they usually deserve it and that's rare. I've never had a cat full on attack though.

I know how ya feel. When I was 5 years old, I was squeezing my cats paws right after he was declawed and he used his back paws (and claws) to push off my face to get away from me. Leaving a scar from the bottom of my nose down to my top lip, split my upper lip and 8 stiches. I still have the scar 17 years later!

I'm definitely an animal lover, but as soon as an animal comes at my kid I have no problem giving them away.

Bring him/her to a shelter, just mention that it needs to be with an older family... no kids. If you lie to them they might put it down without even trying to find a new home for it. :(

Good Luck, hope your LO isn't too traumatized!

That sucks. Hope you LO is okay. I never leave my son alone with our pets because he's too rough with them.

You know, I don't get mad when the cat scratches Jack if he's fucking with him or something, but that didn't happen this time.

Jack was playing on the floor with his trucks and the cat launched himself from the hallway. He latched on to his fucking face. I could kill him. I am livid.

He's not crying anymore. It just looks nasty.

Thanks ladies for the support.

I feel bad for my husband. He truly loves this cat, but said to go ahead and get rid of him.

So why did the cat scratch him?

Clean the wounds really good. The last thing you want is all those scratches to get infected :(
Sorry mama, I'd be right with you, although with my DH it probably would never make it to a shelter. He'd kill it right on the spot.

He didn't. He bit him.

And I have no idea. As I said, it was unprovoked.

Thank you! I cleaned him up, put on some antibiotic ointment on it, and stuck on a Snoopy band-aid, which Jack loves.
