Hey girls! Im brittney and im sixteen years old with a 4 month old baby boy born January 19th. Teenagers at the time are thinking about partying, hanging out their friends, getting out, gossiping, etc. well its different for me. i have the most amazing responsiblity to take care of and that is my son. When i first found out i was pregnant i had no idea what to do. Right when i found out i told my SO and we were deciding on what we should do. I never even considered abortion(against it)I brought up adoption to him and he said no way if you dont want this baby ill take responsiblity for him if i didnt want to be apart of his life. There was no way i could do that because i never really had my bilogical dad around or my mom was never around. and i didnt want the same for my baby. i wanted him to have what i never had. So we decided we were having a baby! SO has a job gets paid 400 a week so he supports me and our baby :) A few weeks pasted and SO and me sat down and told my grandma and dad. Of course they we disapointed and upset but as time went everything was put into place. So as time flew by and my belly grew before we knew it, it was time for our little angel to arrive. On January 19th 2012, by c-section our little Anthony Owen Gallardo was born at 9:01 weighing 7lb 12oz 21in long heathly baby boy. After the 4 days flew by quick in the hospital we finally got to bring our angel home. My SO stayed at my house for a whole week and there was a little argument between my family and his family. which put so much stress on me & i was miserable. Once anthony started getting around 3 months things were starting to get better and still reamain the same. I cant tell you how much this boy means to me. He may be a hand full at times but im being the strong mother i can be and be the best for him i know he will be proud of me in the end. Now i'm focusing on school, waiting till i graduate, going to look for a job this summer, and be there every step of the way for my son and watch him grow with his father. & satill going stong with my SO. feel free to share your stories ladies <3

It is nice to see a young person who is working to towards being an adult, not continuing to be a child. I hope everything continues going good for you darlin!! Good Luck in your future.

I am 17 and I am 9 weeks along. I wont lie it is scary. I never had my father in my life he chose drugs over me. My mom was there up until I turned 12 I got taken away from my mom by Childrens Divison and At 16 I ran away and got emancipated. I have been with the dad of my baby Over a year and a half. We have been engaged since September of 2011. We were going to get married this year but now we are going to wait until the baby comes and get married next may. Everyone I know judges me saying that I will never be able to take care of my baby or give him/her a good life and I will fail. I had one person tell me to abort my little angel. I told them to stick it where the sun does not shine. (I personally could never abort my baby). I believe everything happens for a reason. Including our little baby. My mom supports me and so Do his parents. I had to grow up fast I helped raise my nephew for years I fed him his bottle I changed him Bathed him Because him Mom was a drunk. And his father was not around. So at 11 I was taking care of a baby. I didn't have parents from the time I was 12 I bounced back and fourth from foster home to foster home and Never stayed in one place more than a year. I feel like I should be 25 not 17. I will stop it right there because Its getting long but thanks for letting me share my story.:!::!::!:

Im glad you are doing well! i HATE seeing young people always out partying and NEVER have their kid. EVER! it bothers me.
