I have stretch marks in the inside of my thighs all the way to my knees and a few past them. I am only 27 weeks pregnant and am on track for weight gain. I know they say stretch marks are hereditary....but my mom never got them on my here legs like that. I have asked all my friends NO ONE has heard of woman getting them all the way to their knees...I have been using cream...idk if it is working but....couldn't hurt. Has this happened to anyone else? Did they go away after pregnancy. This is really getting me down.

if you get them, get used to them, they will fade to a silver color over time, but they'll never go away(no matter what cream or lotion you use)

I have them on my legs from pre-pregnancy. They'll fade to be almost invisible depending on skin tone (mine aren't anywhere near as bad as they were) and I found that when I had to fake tan for dance competitions they went a lot less noticeable if it helps you for attempting to mask them. I really wouldn't worry though, a lot of people get them one way or the other :)

Lol I was looking for something a little more helpful than
get used to it. But thanks.

I have them everywhere except my belly except for one I noticed today!. I have them on my hips, butt, b**bs, thiights all the way too my knees and a few on my calves. I used palmers coco butter even pre pregnant, still nothing helped. My mother didn't get them all the way too her knees either. I am 29 weeks pregnant.

Thank you girls. I was prepared to have them. I just wasn't prepared for them to go all the way down to my knees. It just caught me off guard and surprised me. As long as they don't stay red I will be okay lol

I have them all over the outside of my left thigh. Some days they're dark red other days they're a silvery color. My right leg has them but not nearly as bad. Got them on my b**bs too and a few on my lower back and butt :( Everyone tells me they'll fade to a silvery color after the baby is born

Yep. I have them down the back of my legs to right behind my knees, inside my thighs, all around my abdomen, on the backs of the top of my arms, on my b**bs... hell, on my vagina. Lol! Anything that gets even a little stretched out, I get stretch marks. Like someone else said, they fade and I find that when I'm tan they're almost impossible to see but they'll always be there. My sister and I both have them and my baby sister even has them from puberty. My mom is completely stretch mark free but we get them from our dad. I slather my kids in Coconut Oil all the time in the hopes that MAYBE they won't get them as bad... especially my daughter, who has a build just like mine and will probably not be skinny and straight kinda girl, haha!!

Thanks you for sharing. I was starting to feel like I was the only person getting them there. Everyone else I had talked to looked at me like I was nuts when I told them. I seriously feel so much better now.

i have them all over the inside of my thighs and a few past my knees also. the ones past my knees have faded and i can only see them if i get close to my leg. the only things that works a little for me is tanning, it fades them a little but never all the way
