I am new to this site.Looking for mommies as I journey through this pregnancy and beyond.I am due January 4th,2013.I am a high risk pregnancy so I would like to meet a few higher risk moms to help me get through this and hopefully I can help in return. This is my first pregnancy so I'm really nervous especially being it's high risk. Any words of encouragement will be appreciated. :D
im high risk, for pre term labor and incompetent cervix what are you high risk for?
I'm due January 6th. Not high risk, as of yet(knock on wood). But I did have a lot of issues with my first LO.
I am high risk because of Gestational diabetes, too many still births in third trimester, maternal age, and MTHFR.
I am high risk because I have a spilt uterus :), I was put on bed rest at 7 wks and still on it. Just try not to worry to much and stress out, it makes things way worse. Just try to take it day by day :), good luck with everything!
Quoting Hannah & Haylee's Mommy!:" im high risk, for pre term labor and incompetent cervix what are you high risk for?"
I have a seizure disorder. It's not epilepsy they say yet I take medication for epilepsy? My seizures are an unknown cause.
Hi I am high risk also and im due Jan 12 I was under radiation befor I even knew I was pregnant and with my last baby he was born at 27 weeks so yes this is not going to be easy but this dont mean there is anything wrong with the baby its just the baby may come early so kinda watch how much activity you are doing I hope this helps you out.:-)
High risk as well, I have 3 daughters and delivered them all early.
I had multiple systems shut down and/or weaken, toxemia and eclampsia (full blown seizures). Went into labor with the first at 28 weeks delivered at 30 weeks when I had a stroke from all of the weight gain (over 100#). With the second we were ready for the complications and I was on bed rest for months... same problems but they did an emergency delivery after a full round of steroids, in week 32. Baby three made it to 34 weeks, but was hospitalized for the last month of the pregnancy to enforce bed rest and administer IV meds, she wasn't even put in the NICU like her sisters :)
Anyway, baby #4 on the way now and we are crossing our fingers we make it to Christmas for delivery!
As far as high risk goes I know most (if not all of the tests!) and the stress of carrying the precious life hoping to make it all the way to the end....
Good luck to all of you ladies :) support and prayers your way :)
I'm due Jan. 24th and I'm high risk.
Prolapsed uterus. I've been on bed rest since week 8, and will probably be on bed-rest the remainder of my pregnancy. Keep your head up! (:
'm high risk too due to an incompetent cervix and being diabetic. I'm pregnant with #3 and due Jan. 7th. I had pre-eclampsia with my first as well, but did not have that problem with the second. I'm hoping that stays the case and will not have to deal with it this pregnancy either. I'm scheduled to have a cerclage put in on July 10th and won't really breathe easy until that is done. I've had some recent spotting, which has me a little concerned, but I'm trying to stay positive and not stress too much. Good luck to you!
Thanks everyone.I am currently 14 weeks now and my doctor says everything is fine.Only things I have to watch for before birth is seizures which I have not had in awhile :) And after birth for possible birth defects due to the seizure medication. There have only been 217 studies of pregnancies on my medication with only 1 case of spina bifida and 2 cases of a problem not sure what its called but severe acid reflux that he said went away in time.
Since there is a chance of spina bifida, did they put you on high doses of folic acid? I am high risk because I had a child with spina bifida who died at 20 weeks gestation and a son who was born with hypoxic ischemic hypoplasia. I also have high bp and a history of gestational diabetes.
Hi I am high risk because I am carrying TWINS! I am rally worried I dont really know what to do and what not to do all my Dr, tells me is I have to get tons of rest . So I was wondering if anyone who has or is carrying twins would have some advice on the do's and don'ts more in detail thank you
I'm a high risk pregnancy due to the fact that I'm pregnant with TRIPLETS and without fertility! AMAZING!
