The way my doctor put it...drink more water. And when you think you've had enough water...drink some more.

Two weeks ago my urine was cola colored and it freaked me out. To start with I have a bladder disease called interstitial cystitis which causes the bladder lining to become irritated and bleed, but I've never seen my urine dark like that.
So i called the doc and they had me come in for a pee test. Blood was the culprit most likely from my above stated condition being irritated.

But if you don't have a pre-existing condition similar to mine and aren't experiencing any pain, (like with a UTI) then you are most likely a bit dehydrated. If it hurts to pee, are having pain in your back on the sides (flank pain), or have a fever, it could be an infection.
