If anyone has a Lorax cartoon diaper they're not loving--let me know. My oldest has decided it's the best movie ever this last week and we've watched it like a dozen times already.

On a side note, I think we should all be glad Tracey is taking a vacation--maybe I can save a little money for those 2 weeks ;-)

Jesus, I don't know what happened, but Aurora's rash is worse than it ever was. It's been going on for about a month now. More spots have shown up, some plain blisters, it's getting pretty bad.

I've done vinegar rinses before and after washing, and it's not working. We just washed them, and we're trying to strip with Dawn this time. We're going to buy a pack of disposables, and RLR, until I can get these diapers cleaned properly, because apparently I'm not doing something right. I just want my baby girl to be cleared up :(

Um, the list of what I haven't tried is definitely shorter than what I have as far as brands go lol.

-waves-

Hello ladies! I finally convinced my husband to do CDing! Sooo I need advice. We want to do pockets. My boy is SKINNY and tall. I'm looking at sunbaby and alvababy... I have a few questions if you'd all mind helping a little :)

1) If I order a 20 pack from Alva do you know how they chose the prints? I don't want to get all flowers and hearts bleh

2) Are sunbaby just as good? I see you can pick the prints there, but they don't seem to have but a few choices.

3) Is there a specific one that'd be better for tall and skinny?

Thank you!

Welcome :D

Honestly, it depends on the baby which will fit better. My daughter is tall and skinny and I don't really like Sunbabies. But there are other mamas in here who have kids with similar body types and they love Sunbabies. My favorite is Alva for her (and QQ baby, but they fit the exact same).
And I do not know how they choose the prints. Kinda odd that they don't give you that option! Have you check out a co-op? You will have to wait longer for your diapers, but you get a slightly better price and you choose exactly what you want. Both Sunbaby and Alva do co-ops.
HOWEVER. A lot of people are having issues with Sunbaby right now. Like she's sending random diapers if certain ones are out of stock, sending the wrong size, taking forever to ship, etc. I personally would never order a Sunbaby directly from China.

I have no idea how it works buying a 20 pack from Alva lol, sorry! However I do love them. I love both Alva's and Sunbaby's. I would get maybe 10 of each. Or, a dozen of each since I think that's how Sunbaby's are.

Ditto on the co op. There is one open right now I think. It closes tonight if she hasn't already closed.

Ok ladies in your opinion, which is better as a soaker? Wool or fleece?

Or just give me pros and cons of each.

I have some prefolds but only two covers and I don't really like the way the pul fabric and elastic make his skin sweat. So I'm looking for a quick and easy DIY project.
