Bah, stupid phone.

Anyway, things are changing for wahm carriers. Some have shut diwn selling in the US becausr they can't afford the current regulations. A lot are worried now because standards are changing (for the good imo) and the testing they'll have to send them through isn't cheap.
It's a lot easier for them to get away with being non-compliant. After this goes into affect punishment can include fines or jail time.

Quoting Moses.:" *jots down pads* I have been wanting to get some cloth liners. And a cup. But I don't want to buy MeLuna's cause they test on animals. But they are the only one that I have seen does co ops :("

Etsy and HC cart are my favorite place to buy pads  Or PIMP pads are pretty nice too, but pricey. Are you gonna have your daughter use cloth when she starts her period? Sorry if that's weird...but I always wonder this since I have a girl

I bet if I cracked down and devoted some time to learn to use my sewing machine, I could make some unpaper towels that are prettier than what we're using now  I already have snaps and pliers and tooonnnns of fabric.

I've thought about switching to cloth pads, even though I said I never would. But I don't get periods right now.

I have a girl too, and I'll let her use whatever she wants, be it cloth pads or disposable tampons. I think that's a personal choice.

You should :P It saves money and is more comfortable IMO.
I think I'd tell B all the benefits of cloth then let her decide, but I don't think I'd buy disposables for her :P I'm a mean, cheap mommy haha

I'd buy them for DD just because I know how embarrassing it would be to use cloth pads in high school. Where are you supposed to keep the used one? What happens if you have a used pad in your purse and it falls out? I would die.

Small zippered wetbag  Or a pencil case is cheap and easy to get and works!

Oh...true :P I think with school it would be kind of awkward for them, but it can work if they're open to it. But then again I have been considering home school sooooo who knows lol.

I think there would still be issues IMO. Sure, it could work without a problem. But I personally wouldn't do it. I had such a hard time in high school that I was suicidal, I can only imagine the things people would have said if they had found out I used cloth pads.

Seriously. I had a hard time because my best friend was bisexual, so OMG that must mean I'm a lesbian and am going to pounce on the next vagina I see  Once a certain group of girls hates you, it's all downhill from there. I'll be so scared for DD when she hits high school :( Maybe I'll homeschool

Ugh same. Stupid people don't like one thing and end up making everyone dislike you or pick on you.
