Okay thanks :( any ideas? It's not a rash really, it's just bright red and he screams when we wipe him. We've been using coconut oil regularly for a week because his little hole was bleeding, his doctor said to keep it most. But now his cheeks are all bight red :(

Sounds like it could be. That's how Adrien would get with fabrics he couldn't tolerate :( Poor kiddo.

Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" What does it look like when they get issues from ammonia build up?"

looks like sores on the bum, can look like little red pimples.

Did it happen right away? He's been using the diapers for over a month and a half.

No just the coconut oil. This screaming in pain and bright red just started today. I didn't want to wait for it to get worse if I could know early enough to stop something.

I THINK he may be so that was a possibility I considered too. His last 2 teeth he didn't get a rash or anything, wasn't cranky, they just were there. His top front gums have been sensitive though so it may be that.

Oh yeah. It was right away. Though, oddly enough, he "switched" intolerances on me around 15ish months.

Asher's second top just came in and he had a massive rash while it was breaking through.

So after that long it's not likely to be overnight then? He was seriously just fine yesterday, and today the blood curdling screams.

Was it just while they were breaking through or the weeks before too?
