Yeah I'm all for team pink. That's the big thing keeping me from ttc. I still have gender disappointment

I want twin girls in my imaginary world. To name them Ruth and Naomi. Creative, I know. But I wouldn't want that for real. Girls are hard. Let alone two of em.

Hey all! I'm joining this thread. Don't come on BG much anymore but for a Cloth diaper thread, I just might! We just started CD'ing our son a little over 2 months ago and he is now 29mo. Took me two kids to talk the husband into it and now he wishes we had from the get go. I am also due in April with #3!! I want to try out some of the co-ops I belong to on fb, but I am nervous because a lot of them seem like they always have issues.

Also, I was wondering what everyone's go-to stripping routine is? I have a love/hate relationship with microfiber inserts. We have extremely hard water with a high iron content and sulfur deposits.

I started prepping my diapers and inserts. I did one load of natural fiber stuff. I followed this.

Wash load on hot/cold with a tiny bit of Rockin Green detergent
Rinse load warm/cold
Rinse load warm/cold
Dry in dryer
Rinse load cold/cold
Rinse load cold/cold
Dry in dryer

I read that it takes about 6-8 washes to get to max absorbency... Is it full washes? Or just individual rinses?

Stripping, I have done dawn in a pinch, but I prefer a drop or two of tto, wash on hot. half cup of baking soda wash on hot. half a cup of vinegar wash on hot. rinse. rinse. pull everything PUL out and do a sanitary wash on extra hot, then rinse, rinse.
I have NEVER had an issue with this one and she has newborn customs open right now. This is one of my most favorite groups.
