wash/dry 3-5 times for the soakers, and a good wash/machine dry for the shell. easy peasy

Quoting Brink:" I'm packing the baby's bag for school tomorrow. I have T's packed with pull ups (hope they can help potty ... [snip!] ... potty train him :x :x ) BUT I'm not sure how many diapers to pack for the baby. I'm thinking 6?? They'll be there 4-4.5 hours"

I pack one for every hour they're there, plus a couple, so yeah, 6 should work!

Quoting **Jen:" Anyone know how I might repair a damaged snap on a diaper? I got some new diapers today and one snap ... [snip!] ... sending a new diaper to replace it. It would be nice to fix it though, bonus diaper for free because they didn't want it back!"

find someone with snap pliers or a snap press and have them pop a snap back on it? I do it all the time for my local group of cloth girls.

Are they expensive? I might just get one and fix it myself since I have 3 other diapers that have rise snaps that don't hold well. Can I just reuse the same snaps or do I need to buy new ones and totally replace them? While I'm at it I might see if I can figure out how to add hip snaps to my diapers that don't have them :P Well that is if I get snap pliers of my own. I don't know anyone around here so borrowing one would be almost impossible.

Well hell lol I was hoping to get inserts that way because I need a good 30 diapers & no matter where I look, 30 is still semi expensive but I'm still looking around. Alva is just a little cheaper than sunbaby but the quality looks the same

they sell them on Joannfabric.com and you can have it shipped to you, I'm sure. Otherwise, have someone buy them and send them to you since you're in Canada. The pliers are about 15 ish bux if you use a coupon, the snaps are only one-time use, so you'd have to buy new snaps, and it's probably worth it just to have them on hand to add hip snaps to your other dipes!
