bitching to people who understand...

sams being a butt. I went on my baby pumpkin and now theyre discount is 35%. So I wanted to get one more super undies for Lyl, and they have one large one left in the coral color (I think it's actually the only large one left in general). Then I wanted flip covers, so I was going to get two of those (one of each o fthe only two colors they have a couple left of, they are velcro though, all the snaps were out). So I put them in the cart to see how much they cost and it came out to $31.46 shipped. I was like HOT DOG!!! thats just under $11 a piece. What a steal, especially when super undies go for about $20, and flips go for about $14, plus shipping on top of that. Cmon!!! I may have to throw a fit.

Quoting Ecstasy:" Ok last question regarding covers haha!! Blueberry OS coveralls... are they ok? I can get 2 for $20 brand new, never used. I've got to buy it on ebay before the sale is up... QUICK haha!!"

I haven't used the coveralls, but I love my blueberry pockets. Love, love, love! I've got one of the mini coveralls and it is well made, but I wont get to try it for a while.

Flips are ok, I just don't like spraying them. Guess that could go for any cover, though.

I ended up grabbing the blueberry coveralls .. apparently they size bigger then flips too? :)

It was only $20 and they're brand new.

The lady selling flips wanted $18 each (used!) i can get them from the US including post for $17.60 each in the colours i wanted.. i sent her the link and told her no thank haha!

You can get flips 2 for $20 on nickisdiapers.com right now. The blueberrys do seem a little bigger, but mainly I like that they are softer. I have bought one at regular price and 3 as seconds. Two haven't come in yet, but the one I do have is pretty much perfect. The only thing "wrong" with it is that the tag is crooked. For half price I'll take a crooked tag! lol

It sucks though, you guys have some amazingly cheap deals.. but by the time i add shipping costs its ridiculous!

For a $14 diaper on sale it was going to cost $37 in shipping alone LOL! :(

Here in Australia they bump the prices up majorly too.. so by the time i buy the same thing here its ridiculously priced also.

1 flip cover here is about $26 and then i have to pay $7.20 for post!

So I don't like my 4.0s as much as I thought I would. But I really like my freetime is there any other good os aio that's not overly expensive? And what are the best cd websites to purchase from?

Aww, I didn't think about that. There aren't any cloth diaper shops in Australia? I've seen a ton of super nice looking diapers that are only sold outside the US.
Here is the itti bitti au shop. I dunno if it'd be any cheaper on you, though.

ETA: NVM... $40 a piece. eew.

I've been there and got a quote for them to get a loveybum interlock wool cover in for me.. its cheaper for me to get it sent from the US believe it or not LOL!!

They charge heaps over here for products, and for Australian made products the quality sucks & they charge a fortune.

I prefer to buy from WAHM's in the states if im honest, i get a better quality product at around the same price.

Itti bitti & Baby Beehind SUCK lol!

They leak like crazy and the fit is horrible, i hate them .. i had some for my eldest DS when we first started CDing and i sold them and preferred my colour snap alvababy diapers.

Can someone explain to me how i measure a rise?

Im going to measure both LO's for a wool cover.. do i take it from just above where the diaper sits on his belly and right to his back.. or only from belly button to their crotch?

If im going to be using it for over night is it best for me to wait until my Squishies get here? (i've only got BG's at the moment but thought i'd use those to gauge a rough estimate even though the rise is a little low on our eldest)

WDYT?

Also.. it says to measure their waist... thats like ... horizonal/around their mid section where their belly button is right?

:( Well, that's no good. You'd think there would be a decent maker around there somewhere.

Aww... I was wondering about the itti bitti. Its like half the people I hear from love them and the other half hate them. No in between. :P

That stinks. If I could sew worth a flip I would make you some diapers! For that matter I would make me some diapers and we'd all save some $ :D

I really want to buy a Honeybuns diaper, but her diapers are like $25-$40 each. They're so cute, though! And they must be good quality because when she does special prints they sell out super quick.

Same here!

Im not sure if its the shape of my kid or what.. but at 10mo he couldnt fit into their OS tutto.

I just didnt like them at all... i know mums who love them, but def not worth the money IMO.

Same with baby beehinds.. their shape are really strange & the elastics in both them & the itti tuttos arent nice & stretchy, soft & springy.

They left red marks & the fit was terrible lol!

I might look at 'honeybuns' :) .. ive got a whole stash coming from 'squishy butt' - sabrina & a few from 'Dippee Dypees' .. i've got a few WAHM diapers from auzzie mummies coming too.. but im not expecting them to be anything spectacular

when i compare diapers to the 3 squishies we had the quality looks horrible.. i am fussy though lol!
