I think I might add one more....

Will you run these again?

Yeah I hate folding laundry of any kind. Much easier to sit down and stuff every 5-7 days.

Someone please tell me using prefolds with a snappi gets easier?!

I SUCK at putting them on nice and snuggly.. baby ends up with gaping areas around his legs & i feel like i need 3 hands.. 2 to hold the wings and 1 for the snappi.

Practice makes perfect..... doesn't it?

ETA:
Ive just trifolded & lay them in a cover  ... everyone on youtube made using prefolds/snappis look soooo simple... i feel like a spazz.

IDK I just did these on a whim lol. For how cheap they are, most likely. I NEED to get other things run though. I need to get the Easter buy closed. And I want to open another my little legs, they just got new swaddle blanket prints. I am trying to stick with as much local, US companies as possible. I want to run green virgin soon too. So much, so little time lol.

I am no good at it either LOL. I was when he was small. But once he got bigger, and more mobile, not so much.

Oh no! Jctrade?

I'm no help with Easter stuff. I don't think we are even doing baskets it's not really something we celebrate.

It's bad, I want swaddled blankets but I have no baby to swaddle lol

Lol, hey, neither do I. And I just ordered some on the last one. But they are soooo soft, and huge and Adrien loves them. I bought 2 A&A ones with the intentions of putting them up and Adrien found them. And well, there was no taking them away lol. So they are his for now lol

Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" Quick question. When making your own flats out of receiving blankets, what measurements do you use?"

I used receiving blankets once, but I didn't cut them. They were the small ones. I know I've seen huge ones people cut up on youtube but I have never seen one that big in person. Where do you find them that big?

If it's for a smaller baby I would just use a standard size one as is.

Here you go, Rachel!

These are the two t-shirt ones I made. Hope you can see these ok, my flash was sorta bright.

In case you decide to use a shirt instead of actual material, I used one extra large shirt for each and it was enough for a newborn size. They had kind of v-necks, but if you used a regular t-shirt and cut it long ways you could probably get a bigger sized diaper out of it.

I also got some more fleece today! I made two blue ones and have material for two green and probably 4 of this pretty blue, green, and purple tye dye. :) I only sewed the blue, but here are those.

I've got six so far and they all look different even though they are cut from the same pattern. I've been looking up ways to improve my seam allowances.

On another note, what do you ladies use in your wipe solution?

I just went through 3 big black trash bags full of preemie, newborn & 0-3 clothes that DS can't wear anymore. I sorted everything & posted on FB about it so that anyone who has babies that small or are expecting them can come get all this baby crap! There are 10 preemie outfits, 48 newborn, & 126 0-3 outfits. 9 jackets, 60 pairs of socks, 7 pairs of shoes, 24 small bibs, a bottle warmer, a bottle sterilizer, pacis & clips, & a few swaddler wraps. Everybody likes free stuff lol then I had to handwash the prefolds that were soaking so I'm exhausted!

They look good! What pattern are you using?
And in my wipe solution I use water, coconut oil, tea tree oil if I can find it, and witch hazel.

I am using receiving blankets as flats and do the origami fold with them (30x30 blankets and some 30x36 ones) I dont use snappies at all, I tie the flaps in the front or have added my own tushie ties to them and they work great. I did this cause snappies wont always stick to receiving blankets. lol

For me, with the wings I'd twist them too and it helped keep it much more snug. So like angel wing, but then twist the wing too, to ideal snugicity :P

It was easy on me....buuuuuut I had a newb who couldn't really move lol
