I use TTO for everything :P But Madi peppermint would be fine. Just dilute it of course!

Quoting Piecey.:" Im so sad. One of my Disana covers got tossed in the wash with all the other diaper stuff this evening. ... [snip!] ... its either the husband or one of the kids tossed it in the pail not realizing what they were doing. They all know better :("

I'd be piiiiiissed. Those are so expensive!
I've washed wool in the washer before, and thankfully it didn't warp. Did yours?

<blockquote><b>Quoting .free.:</b>" :D I kinda disappeared because I've finally figured out CDing for us and I never really buy anything ... [snip!] ... might as well finally try cloth ones :) Do you think I could use peppermint oil in the water? I love the way it smells :P"</blockquote>

There's many different wipe solutions you can use. I would not waste your $ on buying wipes. We use wash cloths, baby wash cloths, and cut up tshirts.

I use a little tto, evoo, and water. I was using baby soap but I've gotten really wired about chemicals lately so I dropped that. I bought some dr bronners soap so I may use that. But honestly it works pretty good the way it is so I think ill just leave it. Plus tto is an antiseptic so she's getting clean.

You can use any essential oil u want for scent. I put eucalyptus oil in my body wash cause I LoVE the smell and dd puts lavender in hers haha.

If you want to use peppermint oil and not tto you could also do a little vinegar as an antiseptic and peppermint oil and a carrier oil of choice and fill with water. I used to use sunflower oil but it was making my dipes smell like a cooking pan :? I just bought some grapeseed oil yesterday I'm gonna try cause it has vitamin e in it. You could use vegetable oil too of you wanted haha. I don't use coconut oil on the baby cause I did at first and she got a bad rash and I wasn't sure if that caused it so I just quit using it for wipes. But I do use it for infant massage on her. Coconut oil is a good choice for wipes if your baby isn't sensitive to it.

I just put my stuff in a 32 oz cup and fill with water. Then dipe the wipes, ring then out, and put them in a food storage container.

I didn't know TTO was antiseptic! I'll have to figure out where to get it :)

I've stopped using the oils etc, poor DS was getting a rash from my mixture.

Apricot kernel oil, drop or two of lavender, tiny bit of natural baby wash & 5 cups water.

Im just using plain water now....

Im actually really happy about it LOL!! No more washing wipes/diaper separate .. im too lazy for that haha!

Yep, so is lavender, thyme and geranium .. if you google theres a whole bunch that'll come up :)

I wanted to get geranium but it was too expensive... $30 odd a small bottle compared to $11 for lavender. :?
