<blockquote><b>Quoting [Boats&Hoes]:</b>" Does anyone know if there is a difference in fabric absorbency? Like, is bamboo more absorbent than mf? Which do you ladies prefer?"</blockquote>

Bamboo is definitely more absorbent, and more trim. Bamboo and hemp are supposed to be similar in absorbency, but I don't like hemp. I prefer bamboo, then cotton.

Bamboo is supposed to be better for sensitive skin, but some people are sensitive to it. Generally natural fibers are better for sensitive skin than synthetics.

Quoting LoveMyBubbaBoy:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Big D!:</b>" Anyone have a sprayer? Did you buy a diaper one ... [snip!] ... around."</blockquote> I was going to get a sprayer but I tried a cheap plastic frosting spatula instead. I love it."

I did the spatula last time and didn't really like it. It worked okay for solid poops.

I have one and loved it. It really helped. I got mine off of ebay for like $30

So does anyone make their own detergent? I typically do and I have a new recipe that I am unsure if it would be CD friendly. would anyone be able to tell me?

If you post the ingredients we'd be able to pick out some known "unfriendly" ones. Right off the top of my head I can't name them, but I know two ingredients for sure I could pick out as bad when I see them (one is way too harsh and caustic to skin and the other causes major build-up issues).

Zote: no go, same with fels naphta. Baking soda: no go. Oxyclean: I personally would not use it on my diapers if I wasn't desperate.

Ya but in small amounts. And you're not supposed to soak in baking soda. I believe too much usage can damage the PUL.
