<blockquote><b>Quoting .free.:</b>" Well my wipes will be here today and I have CO on hand so I'll probably mix up some stuff using that and see how I like it :)"</blockquote>

Make sure to mix it with hot water so it melts.

And I got my lavender and eucalyptus at gnc (they're BOGO 1/2 off right now). They also have tto. I put tto in everything (body wash, conditioner, laundry soap, hair gel, wipes, stripping dipes, etc). I got mine at meijer but I don't think u have that there. They have good deals on it. I like to have an antiseptic in my wipes cause dd is so young she doesn't get a full bath everyday or anything so I feel like it helps. And I like oil to make her skin soft since we don't use any lotions or anything. And I feel like it makes the wipes slide across her more softly since I use wash cloths and stuff so they're a little rough sometimes.

Make sure they're tight enough, first off. Other than that, I don't really know.

Hm. Just a shot in the dark here, but try pulling the insert down a little if the makes sense. So it isn't right up to the top of the diaper in the front, kwim?

For anyone who has cloth diapered a newb... What were your favorite diapers? Type or brand. I'm going to start my newborn stash now :) I have prefolds and covers from when my son was small but prefolds never held in BF poop and it always got on the cover. I'd like to avoid that this time.

If you havent tried you could always use a snappi or boingos on your prefolds instead of trifolding.

I had them snappi-ed in an angel fold and tried bikini twist. Neither held the poop in around the outer thigh. Maybe I just wasn't good at folding prefolds. I'd like to try fitteds on a newborn, maybe the elastic will make a difference.

And I really like how the boingos look! Are those new? I never really liked snappis.

Roll the legs in tight.

Hm I don't think I was doing this on my son.

It helps a ton. I used flats and jelly rolled the legs (though she wasn't a newb, she was 4 months) and it kept in EBF poop most of the time
