Quoting lolajessup:" Omg so I just researched the stay dry fabric I got. It's micro pique. I guess it had good reviews for ... [snip!] ... thought to make my own mama cloth. That's my next project!!! I'm not sure what to put inside that fabric though. Just cotton?"

I've used cotton before but was told it wasn't as absorbent by the buyer. (I couldn't test my stuff first since I didn't have a period with my IUD haha). So I started using a terry bamboo fabric for the inside. I think it absorbs much better. You could use hemp too.

I love going to JoAnns and scoring big time on rements. I'm in heaven doing that haha. I'm addicted to fabric.

Quoting susanesque:" Have you tried the weehuggers covers (maybe they're all covers?)? I have one in my newborn stash and there is something about it I'm iffy on. Not that I've tried it..."

I didn't like the weehugger for nb. I hated the PUL was backwards, so it was one time use, and it just didn't fit well.

I've never tried a hybrid fitted before!

Maybe. I've only ever seen those once, so I didn't think of that.

I'm hoping it'll do ok. I've only got the one, so at least if I hate it it's not like my entire nb stash or anything. I watched a video review and they seemed ok, but when I got mine it looked completely different than the one they had reviewed; Not like there is anything wrong with it, just maybe that was after they had made some style changes, I guess.

I did for a bit and i love the stretch the PUL has and what ever there inner is.... BUT I hate every thing else about them. The place that you stuff/unstuff always get poop on it, they are narrower in the crotch so there hard to stuff, and the size 2 stopped fitting DS around 26LBS
