I did another trade haha!!! It was hard to let go :( but ill get to try 3 diff brands I haven't tried yet. So I'm excited. It's a nice way to buy dipes and not have to spend much (just shipping) :)

hi ladies!! So I am a CD newbie! I plan to CD this third baby and a friend of mine said she's going send me a few of her diapers that she no longer needs, so I can start with my 2 year old to get a hang of it. Now, I don't have a diaper sprayer, but I do have a detachable shower head, that we don't use; is it possible to just hook that up to the toilet and use that instead of an actual diaper sprayer???

I know!!! :/ I'm dying to try a decent fitted for my 13 month old but If I'm not wanting to spend $30 new for the diaper, I don't want to spend $28 used for it... :/

I don't have a sprayer. Lol. I have a plastic frosting spatula. I rarely EVER have to even use it. My son's poop usually does the play-doh effect. lol. And if I roll it around in the diaper a little it all sticks in one ball and plops into the toilet. Plus the spatula was only 1.99 and it came with a smaller one that I use in the wet bag. :)

No, the fittings are not the same on a toilet and a shower. You can get just a kitchen sink sprayer. THere is a link in the OP :)

I actually really wanted to use fitted, thinking they would be cheaper and easier because the covers could just be wiped down, but they are not cheap at all!! I'm going to stick with trying pocket diapers. wish I was determined enough to try flats or prefolds, but those look hard!!

you can find em cheaper on Spots, you just have to keep your eyes peeled. I'll pay for Sabrina's new.........and after getting my tiny pooligans I think I will pay for those new as well. But......that's about it lol

oh my that sounds messy. I am glad with my daughter she will be EBF for at least 8 months so that means I don't have to get rid of poop from her diaper, or at least I won't feel gross just rinsing it off in the sink or something. My son's poop is still smooshy and it smells to high heaven!! LOL I don't want to mess with it at all!! lol but I gotta figure it out if I do try to CD with him.

Lol. I don't do anything with ebf poop... It's water soluble so it all dissolves and with washing every other day I never had a problem with staining or anything.

I'm watching for one!!! I REALLY want a squishy but I just ordered my brother a weighted blanket from her so that really depleted my diaper money. lol. But it will help him more than a diaper will help us at the moment... So now I stalk swaps. :)

ok so I was looking at the washing thread and it's pretty dead now, but the OP says this
1 full cold quick wash with no soap.(full cycles have 2 rinses)
1 full hot regular wash with soap
1 full hot quick wash no soap
1 full hot quick wash no soap

Is this for ONE load of diapers??? FOUR wash cycles??? Is this really necessary! that is alot of water usage, IMO! What do you ladies do? I would like to use as little water as possible, I don't mind an extra two rinses, but FOUR FULL cycles seems excessive.

FB swap pages can be ridiculous!!! I saw a diaper I really liked the other day and it had some minor edgewear but I was like, meh, for cheap I don't care! $42 ppd :? Really?? Uh, no.
