Lol. I don't do anything with ebf poop... It's water soluble so it all dissolves and with washing every other day I never had a problem with staining or anything.

Quoting Moses.:" you can find em cheaper on Spots, you just have to keep your eyes peeled. I'll pay for Sabrina's new.........and ... [snip!] ... new.........and after getting my tiny pooligans I think I will pay for those new as well. But......that's about it lol"

I'm watching for one!!! I REALLY want a squishy but I just ordered my brother a weighted blanket from her so that really depleted my diaper money. lol. But it will help him more than a diaper will help us at the moment... So now I stalk swaps. :)

ok so I was looking at the washing thread and it's pretty dead now, but the OP says this
1 full cold quick wash with no soap.(full cycles have 2 rinses)
1 full hot regular wash with soap
1 full hot quick wash no soap
1 full hot quick wash no soap

Is this for ONE load of diapers??? FOUR wash cycles??? Is this really necessary! that is alot of water usage, IMO! What do you ladies do? I would like to use as little water as possible, I don't mind an extra two rinses, but FOUR FULL cycles seems excessive.

FB swap pages can be ridiculous!!! I saw a diaper I really liked the other day and it had some minor edgewear but I was like, meh, for cheap I don't care! $42 ppd :? Really?? Uh, no.

In a front loader it isn't a whole lot. My water bill hasn't went down since not using cloth and my wash was
1 warm quick wash w/ extra rinse
1 hot wash on normal with soap w/extra rinse
1 warm quick wash half a cup of vinegar w/extra rinse
double rinse on cold
double rinse on cold
and sometimes an extra double rinse on warm, just for luck, or something.

I have a top loader, so four full cycles does seem like alot to me.

yep. Most people on the swap pages though have bought extra in co ops fo the purpose of reselling for a profit.

I do a quick wash, a hot wash with detergent and vinegar once in a while in a downy ball, and another quick wash. I have a toploader but it's he... I think the extra rinses are really important in HE machines just because there isn't much water in there to wash the diapers... But our water bill hasn't changed either and I wash 3 times a week.

oh yeah I am ok doing extra rinses, but not FULL cycles, our washer we got for free from family and it is old, even when I set the load to "small" the water level is more than half!! So I think for us 2-3 extra cycles will use alot of water.

I KNOW! And the good stuff (actually fair priced things) go in seconds. Luckily I used a few of my son's naps to snag all of my nb diapers. lol. And craigslist has some stuff... It's just ridiculous! I just want to try something at some other kid has pooped in... Unless they pooped gold, it shouldn't cost as much as a new one..

Lol. Yeah. the water in my machine doesn't even cover my loads... :/ But I do a quick wash instead of an extra rinse just because I think the agitation is more effective than just a rinse and spin.
