Quoting BunnyGirl19:". Where do I find out what scents and stuff you have? I totally want one, but like pink and swirly looking. I'm picky. LOL"

Nothing wrong with that. :) I sent you a PM to avoid cluttering the thread.

I got a play date at the zoo with the little one tomorrow... but after we get home, I'm for sure starting the diapers. *determination* I need to felt up some wool dryer balls anyway. haha

Ok so I cd my youngest daughter but it was the old school kinds. I bought some charlie banana ones (they look like a diaper and have anaps and a pocket thing.

How does this work? I have disposable inserts but I have to change the whole diaper every time right. What do I do after I change the diaper? Immediately wash or what?

Help I feel so lost. I only have three and I'm poaitive I need more to make it through a day....

Those of you that have made diapers.

Do you know of any good tutorials for fitteds? Patterns and stuff? I've got a ton of old prefolds and t-shirts that need to be used. Also. How the hell do you sew a curve? Like...when the wings curve, how do you do that? The foot thingie clamps down and only lets me sew in a straight line. Do you release the foot or an I doing something wrong? *sewing newbie*

GRRRR Why is shipping so expensive!!!??
I decided to look online and buy two diaper covers just because I am seriously very eager to start CD with my son. And I found the cheapest ones at kawaii diaper, two for just under $10, but then of course they get you with the shipping and the total comes out to like $18!! Ugh so annoying!!
Everywhere else is like $10+ for one cover plus shipping. If I had cash I would look on CL, but I only have my debit and don't wanna take $20 out just to get a couple of covers.

You remove the pocket insert, which BTW buying microfiber, hemp, or bamboo washable inserts will be cheaper than the disposable kind. Yes you have to wash the entire diaper. Within 2-3 days max. For pocket diapers I would say you need at least 20 total and have maybe 12 in rotation and you can wash every other day to every two days, depending how much your baby pees. .

BUT I can just tell my husband let me use that $25 for some diaper stuff and we won't have to buy anymore disposables!! ha!!!!

You could get 10 flour sack thingies from Wal Mart for $10. Then spend another 15 on covers?

awesome, and with my 13 blankets that would be 23 flats total!
And some of blankets are small, in that case I would just use the pad fold, right? Since they are too small to fit on him origami style.
