So I disappeared a few hundred pages back

This time last year, I started cloth diapering full time!

The first picture of my kiddo in cloth, although I only had 6 diapers at this point so we weren't using cloth full time yet.

I also haven't bought anything in MONTHS. Did Alva steal any more cute prints from other companies? Lol

Quoting Ivana, expecting #3!:" ok so I am practicing on a doll before I start with my son, the receiving blankets are too thick in the ... [snip!] ... the origami fold and I can't get the dang pin through! should I try a different fold or is there a way to pin it differently?"

run it through your hair :)

I figured it out, you just gotta get the downward angle just right and then bam shoot it back upward fast enough to do a quick stab through the fabric, close the pin and done.

Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" I found a store close to where I live that sells Bummis, Bumgenius, Grovia, Thirsties, Kawaii, Flips, ... [snip!] ... I told my sister & mother I was pregnant today. They didn't act crazy or disappointed/mad, they were supportive! So happy :D"

Double Yay! I'm a little jealous of that store find... It might be a good thing there isn't one of those near me, though.

yep it did help!! But it doesn't even matter!! I got the origami fold pinned on my son and he was ok but then I put the plastic pants on and he kept saying "no" and pulling them off, then I tried the padfold and he hated that too. He went and got a disposable from the box and handed it to me to put on him. I am super bummed out right now! I don't want to force him to wear them, but ugh, I don't wanna keep using disposables because he is being a brat about it. :(

Ok .... so i know some mamas said fuzzibunz suck, but im going to order a 6 pack of elites (not the 2013 ones)

This review has me convinced they'll fit my tiny nb's (boys were 6lb1oz and 6lb11oz) the baby in this vid is only 6lb7oz and fits them perfect - under the umbilical cord too!

She shows them on her bub from 2min - 4:05min

Gah I have been scarce the past few days. Sam started working at two men and a truck again :( boo, you'd think finishing your masters you be able to get a job  he's already been working a ton and probably made in one week 3/4 of what he had been making a month as an adjunct (yup that's how shitty they pay haha). I had to bust my ass on homework cause he's on an out of state move to Indianapolis for the weekend. He'll be back tomorrow night. Not te best $ he could make off an out of state because they go by weight a commission and its a small load. He's only getting like $250 but that's 2 days gone and his checks from adjuncting were not much bigger every two weeks haha!! So I'm happy but I hate how hard it is on his back :( last time he worked there before a muscle and it fused to his spine. I just don't want Him to do permanent damage to his back. So lets hope he finds a good job soon.

Hey ladies if you come across any good sales for Mother's Day this weekend for cloth diapers can you post about them in here?

All I've really seen is discounts of thirsties, sloombs, and like 10-15%off deals.

Sweetbottoms has whole For Mom section is on sale and you get a free pocket diaper with purchase over $50.

Any good wahms having any good sales?
