That's very true. I actually enjoying rethreading my sewing machine and the embroidery machine. I just have a block to the serger, like I just dread it. I rarely change colors in it though, so it's not like I'd have to do it much.

I'd kill for one of those! On the other hand, KAM Snaps has a pink one the same as what I've got and I really want it. I just can't justify having two of them. LOL

Unless she's changed her construction methods the cover leaks like a seive at the embroidery.

Downside to flat diapers?? No one else knows how to put them on! UGH! My son has ended up in a disposable three times this past week because he has decided to take a poop while I am out picking his daddy up from work and my SIL doesn't know how to put the cloth diapers on him, I even had them all prefolded and just needing to be pinned on him and she said she couldn't figure it out no matter how hard she tried, even though she sees me do it EVERY DAY......then again she does lack common sense! UGH! Dinner tonight was that bagged chicken and veggies that you heat on the skillet and it called for 1/3cup of water and somehow it ended up with like 2 cups and was literally a pot of soup with chicken, pasta and veggies floating around!
But I do give her props for dumping out the poop and rinsing the dirty dipe! When I was single and childless, NO way would I do that shit! lol

I know, I mean I could understand the previous two times because they were not folded, but I have decided to kite fold them and have them in the diaper shape ready to go after they dry just to save time, and all she has to do is wrap it around him and put the pins in the right place. but it's ok, I would rather she not end up stabbing my kid or having him wear a crooked or loose diaper which would be leaky.

A lot of people embroider on diapers but "forget" the stitches put holes all over the waterproofing and unless it's completely covered up so the wet can't get onto the stitching it leaks. I'm leery of buying embroidered diapers for the most part because of it. I know some people do it the right way and would buy from them, but it's hard to know if you're not familiar with their products or they don't have good pictures that show what you want to know.

I haven't bought bmb's regular covers, but the ultra trim ones are 2 layers of pul. I would guess that the embroidery would only be on the outside layer of that version... But idk about the regular covers.

Those ones wouldn't leak then.

I should look for a class around here. Not sure if there is one or if I could afford it or if I have time for it... but darn if I can't figure this out! How does it look fine on one side and so wrong on the other?! I googled tension problems but only found the same ones the machine's video talked about, not what I'm dealing with. X_X

Ohh, automatic snap press. Nice. That'd be lovely, I HATE presses... but love snaps, so I endure. lol

I haven't found rethreading my serger bad... though maybe I'm doing it wrong and that's why it isn't working right haha

Quoting [Boats&Hoes]:" For those of you with hard water, what detergent do you use? I've been using All Free & Clear, but I only cd part time. and how would I know my detergent isn't working out for us?"

If you're having repelling/leaking, stink issues, ammonia buildup, detergent buildup, bad rashes, and/or your diapers aren't coming out clean, then your detergent or wash routine might not be working for you. When in doubt, do an extra rinse lol
