They have to go mess some up first before they can ship them. LOL

I have discovered I have a talent for sewing. I've made some mama cloth that looks decent so far. I'm still having a little trouble with the flannel soaker because it doesn't turn easily, but the waterproof part and the top stitching is starting to look really good!

Extremely jealous. I'm (hopefully) going to learn to sew this summer. What fabric are you using for mama cloth?

Flannel to absorb and fleece as the backing. I tested some out and a 'liner' (3 layers flannel 1 layer fleece) held 10 ml of water without leaking. I did pick up some PUL and minky but I haven't used it yet.

If they are seconds they are deemed defective or irregular after manufacturing. Or since they are made in Egypt (unless they've moved factories) they are just waiting on the shipment of them to come in.

Well I know girls can rock "boy" prints, but i was tryna show the bright side of having a boy and not being able to get the cute ruffle butts or girly prints.

Dining Tables: If it makes ya'll feel any better, I have a craft room and still don't have a table. Hubby leaves clean pots/pans on it instead of putting them away. I'd put them away myself but hell no, that's his job. Plus I can't bend over very well right now haha

Ivana: Congrats!

Crazy: I hear that. I did them off and on with DD because of living situations or what not. Sposies are easier but damn if they aren't expensive (I HAD to buy Luvs, everything else gave her rashes)... and so annoying just throwing them away >_<

I already do laundry so it doesn't seem like more... but it's my washer and I'll wash what I want in it so I'm sure hand washing is a bitch.

Faith: Congrats! Sewing isn't so scary, and it gets easier the more you do it. You learn little tricks and what not.

Last night I had it with my serger... I made some cloth wipes (just cut up a flannel blanket as I tried to get the stitch right so it didn't matter how bad it was)... but damn if I didn't try EVERYTHING the manual said to fix it and still nothing. I got pissed and went to bed. If it weren't a $200 machine I'd throw it out the window, I'm so angry. haha It's already almost June, I have stuff to sew before this baby comes! Ahhhhh *stress*

Anyone want to buy a pair of wool longies (purple and green striped) that fit my 1 year old a little big, and/or a purple OS RaR cover? I only used the cover once. I've used the longies quite a bit and the knees are pilly but they're in good shape, no holes

I wish I could justify buying Lonnie's right now... And that I had a girl.

I got it

I think boys can rock most 'girly' prints too, I know I'm in the minority on this one though

my thought process for buying diapers is whether or not *I* think the diaper is cute though, not if it's the right 'sex'

but yea, a ruffle one might be a bit much on a boy haha
