Low blood sugar? W.W. 3 kids; Arkansas 7763 posts

I haven't ever checked my blood sugar by pricking my finger, but I can feel it affect my body. I get shaky and weak when it's low and feel like I can hardly stand, makes me very irritable too mostly because I just feel horrible and like I could pass out. Right now i'm sipping on gatorade because it got low on me and i'm trying to cook so I can eat..but my heart feels like it's racing and beating harder. I thought it only does that when it's high? This only really happens when i'm pregnant, doesn't happen as much when i'm not and I was negative for gestational diabetes with my previous two pregnancies. I don't know what's going on with me lol.

Sounds like low blood sugars, happens to me to. Your gesrational diabetes test was normal because its only seen as bad if its high, and the heart racing thing is common with LBS

This. I have hypoglycemia, and that all sounds like me. I have glucose tabs near my bed for middle of the night drops.

I get highs too...feels similar but almost feels like I feel my blood rushing through my arms and legs and makes me feel bad too. I can tell if it gets high after I eat. It was so strange that the drink they gave me didn't make it like that when they tested me...because most other days it would get high on me. One of those things that doesn't happen when you need someone else to witness it.
