So me and my BD are not together but not seperated. Were trying to work things out. Well i love him but i dont feel like im in love with him.when your in love you should only think about that person, right? Well, lately ive been thinking about how my life would be if i ending up with someone else.
And all of a sudden, WHAT A DAMN QUINCIDENCE (sp?).. im watching One Tree Hill and one girl is married but falls out of love with him. And explains exactly how i feel. The love fadedbecause hes not how he used to be when i fell in love and hes not nice anymore and not romantic or anything but hes still madly in love with me. Im just not in love eith him :(
But when other guys flirt with ne i feel odd. Like i belong to BD...
I know LOs life would be better growing up around his father...
But hes not a good BF anymore. And when someone says something sweet to me, i get butterflies. With BD i havent had butterflies in about 1 1/2 years.
I know on One Tree Hill smeone told the girl that the mad has a right to change and make things better but i feel like she did. It was just done...
It sounds like you're in a rut. I went through one not too long ago with my DH. No one thing pulled us out, but I think it happens. You can't be 100% crazy in love ALL the time, you know?
And just curious which couple are you talking about on OTH?

I know its hard to think about, but really if you talk to people who have been married a long time most of them will tell you that they have periods like that. You could try taking a break from each other and see how that goes.
Tony and I have been in a rut before... but EVERY couple gets in that zone. EVERY couple has periods of butterflies for someone else but not so much their SO. It happens.
What can help is taking a vacation together (even if it's somewhere local and just spend the weekend by the pool at a hotel... but don't call friends/family, have it just be YOU!)
Go on a weekly dinner date by yourselves, even if the dinner is packing up homemade dinner and sitting in the car and eating it somewhere pretty in the city. Learn a new hobby together, like taking a pottery class or something together and create something the both of you enjoy.
Basically, most couples get in ruts because their lives become routine. Break the routine, do something new and rediscover yourself.
If you try that and figure out it's just not there, then maybe it's better to end it. But I'm telling ya, every single couple gets in personal ruts every now and then. The strong couples survive through it and become stronger and closer in the end! I mean SO and I recently almost broke up, SO just said he wasn't happy and we weren't hanging out as much and we did the same thing every damn day. It was boring. But we talked it through and made sure we communicated problems, rediscovered our love through doing new things together. I mean we just went on a vacation and didnt fight once. We have been fighting SO f**king MUCH the past few months, and yet we stayed together since Wednesday night without even one slight disagreement. So truly, it happens to all of us!
