Quoting кinga:" Being a mother does not mean you can't have fun. And if you want LO to "go away for a while", maybe your not ready to be a mother?"

Psh I want my kids to go away at time. I need a break to get my sanity. does that make me not ready to be a mother....no! My gma has taken them for a couple of hours before and after an hour goes by I miss them so much. :(

Quoting Squeaky McGee:" Just because she'd like some time to herself, doesn't mean she's not ready to be a mother."

No, I meant something else because I thought she meant something else. Had nothing to do with her not ready to be a mother because she want's time to herself.

Its okay. Like if CPS took my kids for god knows what ( I know that would never happen because I have my shit together and my house is always clean) I would be a complete wreck. Like I wouldn't know what to do ever.

I understand :P I don't mean i regret being a mom. My baby is the best thing that's ever happened to me, but 24/7 can be a little much sometimes.

No I agree. Maybe you should get someone to watch LO so you can enjoy some time for yourself. Whether it be relaxing at home or having dinner with a freind. Whatever you need to just get away and have free time.

I agree. I find myself day dreaming of my life before the kids. I wouldn't trade them for the world, but it would be nice to be carefree and not worry about the kiddos I left behind.

I had my daughter at 16 and I never felt that way.

I did wish she'd sleep later in the mornings because I was never ready to get up when she was, but that's about it.
