...If so, I have some questions for you!

my last child was born C-Section, but it was unscheduled and everything was crazy and rushed.

On to the questions. I just like to be prepared.

1. What time did you have to be at the hospital?

2. How long beforehand could you NOT eat anything?

3. Did they monitor baby's heart, etc.. before performing the c-section? If so, how long?

4. What time was your C-Section scheduled for?

Thanks in advance! Also, if you want to share how your scheduled C-Section happened in its entirety, thats awesome and appreciated too.

I went into labor with my son after dinner and stayed at the hospital for 4 days getting about and hour sleep a night so im wondering if ill have time before hand to get a good night sleep. Also I didnt eat the first 2 days only water and ice.

Had to be at the hospital 5:30 and it was scheduled for 7:30, baby was born at 7:50.

I think I couldn't eat anything after midnight.

They monitored baby the whole two hours I was there and checked to make sure she will still breech, which was the reason for the c-section. While waiting I was allowed to get up and go to the bathroom before they put the catheter in, that is. They shaved the area while I was waiting and I mostly say and waited and listened to beeping machines.

It depended on the time of my c-section.
I couldnt eat after midnight the night before.
They hooked me up to monitors right away and monitored me right up until the surgery.
I honestly can't remember the time, but fairly early...one was quite a bit earlier than the other one.

My c-sections went well both times...but my first scheduled one was a much easier recovery. the second one hurt SOO bad...but he was also 1.5 pounds heavier.
