LOL, awww I miss that feeling. I don't think it really means anything. My son got the hiccups often when I was pregnant.

It doesn't really mean anything, lol. Hiccups are the same for babies in utero as they are for you. Just hiccups..

I thought it meant that the babies lungs are performing well and they are growing, but I'm no doctor.

My mom always told me "hiccups mean you're growing." ;)

I know that's not true, but it sounds good. Babies just get hiccups in utero like all people do. It's a contraction of the diaphragm, I believe.

It just means he swallowed too much fluid. Lol. It's nothing to worry about, all babies get hiccups.

My LO has hiccups about 5 times a day. My OB said that it just means she's been practicing her breathing and hiccups are an involuntary reaction from that. :)

my daughter used to get the hiccups when i was eating, or after i ate. lol. since high school, i get the hiccups when i'm hungry, or before i know i'm going to eat. not always, but a lot of the time. i used to get them on the way to the lunchroom everyday. lol. and she gets them during school too. it's odd. so, idk.
