Nothing, you will get them no matter what. Stretch marks are genetic.

I religiously used coco butter, kept my skin always moist, and didnt get a single stretch mark. Yes they are genetic, but my mom got about 3 and I dodged that, so I like to thank the coco butter and beleive that is why!

I used baby oil right out of showers, then applied coco butter through out the day, 3 pregnancies and got up to 190 and no stretchmarks :)

Well Im just saying I didnt any stretch marks, my mom did, I was also very tiny during my pregnancy, but its not JUST genetics, it also has to do with the elasticity of your skin.

Also products will help improve elacticity. So even if you use products everyday, and still go them, whos to say it didnt help keep them to a minimum or even just reduce them? Products do work.

If you read the back it says they do not prevent, but help fade them.

I think I'm going to go with coco butter! I see that's what most pregnant woman use, i know stretch marks are genetic..but I'm just trying to find something to prevent them, if I get them..then I will definetly know its genetic!

The key ingredients are proven to prevent them when used correctly and often enough."</blockquote>

All research that I have ever done or seen on here has said they are not preventable, they are genetic. There is no way in changing that. You can try preventing them but if youre going to get them then you will.
