Not necessarily. You can actually O 12-48 hours, so depends when your body decides to actually O. I had some cramping when I O'd, so I had an idea that I O'd that morning when the cramping took place. You might not get that though, since our bodies like to be difficult and not always give us signs. I think she just said that to be on the safe side, since it's 48 hours later.

Are your cycles pretty normal? How long are they? You might have a 12/13 lp which is fine to have, instead of the normal 14. Or this cycle your just Oing a few days later, which does happen at times.

I have a normal 28 day cycle and it last between 5-7 days and I've never known previous O days so this will be new to me to have an idea when I O

Looks like you ovulated CD 14 but need two more high temps to confirm.

Keep BDing but if you have a high temp tomorrow and the next day it will confirm that you ovulated and you can count the first day of high temperatures as 1 DPO. Your temp is actually a more accurate than an OPK although it won't tell you ahead of time you are going to O

It only has to be higher that the previous 6 temps to confirm ovulation (but you need three in a row). Doesn't really matter how high just that it is higher. The only time that the actual amount of the rise matters is if you are trying to avoid pregnancy or if you are trying to use your temps to confirm pregnancy. If you are taking your temps at the same time everyday, after getting 3-4 hours of rest the temp is probably right. Just keep bding and and watch your temps. If you are having EWCM then you probably haven't ovulated yet and that high temp is just a fluke.
