He says he's willing to quit if the doctor tells him that's the cause of everything. I'm line I'm telling you that's the reasoni bet. Smoking isn't good for ttc.

Quoting HotMom21ERF:" Ladies who have/are seeing an RE, what did they do on your first appointment?"

He did a consultation, asked questions, looked at my history and explained what he thought it could be and what they would test for. I got 8 vials of blood taken and DH was supposed to get 1 (He was sick though and came back later)

Well, DH is def not going to get any blood taken, he is terrified of needles. He did say he would do a S/A so hopefully that will be good enough, besides, we already know the problem is with me, not him

Well obviously I doubt they'll say that's the cause of EVERYTHING.
TTC IS affected by smoking. For both of you. Regardless.

Oh, caffeine. SO is a huuuuge coffee addict. Like a lot of black coffee a fay. Trying to get him to cut down is difficult.

http://attainfertility.com/article/smoking-infertility

http://health.howstuffworks.com/pregnancy-and-parenting/pregnancy/conception/smoking-and-drinking-affect-conception1.htm
" According to a study published by the British Medical Association, conception rates drop by as much as 40 percent in female smokers when compared to nonsmokers [source: Andalo]. And in addition to the nearly doubled rate of infertility, women take longer to conceive, and natural conception becomes more difficult."

It takes two to make a baby, though, and a man's health and lifestyle can affect fertility and conception. Smoking is linked to low sperm count, low sperm motility (slow movement) and sperm with damaged DNA -- all three problems reduce the quality of sperm and are known to cause fertility issues.

- these are a little bias, so take them with a grain of salt.

Also please don't feel like I'm judging! I just wanted to show the effects it has and how much better your chances would be without it.

BUT lots of women who smoke get pregnant. It's not a be-all-end all.

They do blood fromt he male to look at the DNA and make sure that it won't cause abnormal rates of miscarriage due to bad genes.

Yeah, I LOVE recreational tea drinking. But because of my high risk I've had to stop drinking it all-together. I'm dying here. I need to get some herbal tea :(

I'm one of those people, too. When I had to take the cytotec to induce my MMC she said "I've never had it not clear anyone out in all my years". Lucky me, I was the first.

Have you been taking Green tea and B-6? If you've been charting, take those in to the RE, too. It will help them figure out what could be the issue.
