Even better! It gives you some really nice bokeh & works pretty well in low light conditions. My next lens will be the 50 mm 1.4 or 35 mm 1.4 :)

The only thing I don't love about my 50 mm is my camera is a crop sensor & I end up cutting limbs & whatnot off inside. I'm strongly debating on selling my D5100 & kit lens & upgrading to the D700 around tax time IF I can talk SO into it. He will probably get pissed off at me lol I just got the D5100 in December. But I wish I would have researched more before I invested & made the purchase.

Yeah the 50mm can be pretty tight indoors on a cropped sensor camera!

You've just have to teach yourself to back up, I love my 50 it's always on my camera.

I can't wait to upgrade.

Mine always was on my cropped sensor (and still is, but I shoot full frame now).. but luckily I have a pretty good sized house lol. Not huge, but about 2500 sq feet and we have big rooms.

I am brainstorming but have NO idea what to do for Liv's 2 year pics! I loved yours btw, Brandi.

It's freaking Phoenix. Everything is ugly here! And I have no idea where to take her to contain her, because she doesnt sit or stand still. :( Her 18 month ones were fun. Just gave her baking stuff and she just sat there and played. Not so much anymore. :(

She loves books. Maybe I could take her pics at a bookstore. Is that super tacky and unoriginal? Her sitting down and reading and whatnot?

Then maybe having lunch? And playing in her room? Like... a day in the life kind of a thing?

Holy shit, I have no clue!

I LOVE the bookstore or perhaps library idea? Just go at a time (if you can) that not many people will be there. I'd do a used bookstore if you could, because you could get some cute books with an aged look. That's a great idea. Lifestyle is great as well.

I am trying to decide what all set ups I want for baby boy.

I want to do a gray on gray set up with a lot of textures, probably the little knit pant and hat sets that are getting popular.

I want to do a set up for photos with Zaida, so I'll probably go for a cream there, just super clean and natural.

Then perhaps.. deep jewel toned greens & blues?

I hate baby blue, I am not a fan of brown.. I just don't like most boy stuff. lol.

Thank you! I just know her, and a posed session outdoors will NEVER EVER work. ha ha if you were doing Z's pics at a bookstore/library... what would you dress her in?

She's obssessed with my phone, my kindle fire, books, and Minnie Mouse. ha ha. And food....

Something like, kind of classic and old fashioned perhaps..
