Quoting Mel & a girl named Pey:" The dial has an M as an option? If so what is it for if not manual?"

I can manually set the aperture, etc at once. Just can't focus the lense manually.

Well I don't know what kind of focus you have but I don't manually focus either. I use Auto.

"Hey ______. Can I ask that you not edit the picture I did for you? And remove the one you have edited? Re-editing doesn't show my work. And it's also a copyright violation which is illegal."

But that shows a bit of how pissed I'd be if someone did that.

I have given her that one edit, but showed her 3 others. I was super excited  the thing is she lives in the next city so it would be a while for me to get to her.

Oh I just can't get a different lens for this camera. I was able to use a friends super nice camera because DH's niece wanted me to take wedding pics. Ya scary right? But it had this awesome lens I could focus with to get some really pretty detailed shots.

Hmm, I think this is what I would say:

Not to offend you or anything, but I'm going to have to ask you to remove the edited picture. It is against copyright law to edit or alter a photographer's images in any way including taking off the watermark. I know you gave me credit, but I actually prefer not to be credited to editing that isn't my work. It's not that I'm saying your editing isn't good, but it isn't my style, & it doesn't promote my business the way I would like it to be viewed. I hope this doesn't come off as bitchy, but this is just standard legalities with photo sessions.

Idk, something like that.. haha

I might even add that photography is an art and what she did would be the equivalent to someone taking an artists work and painting over parts of it. I am mad for you Dani...that isn't good at all.

I know you're super shy Dani, but you CAN'T let people run over you. If she keeps that edit up credited to you, people are going to think that is your editing style & that you're a fauxtographer & it's not going to look good on your business :? I'm mad for you that you took the time to take these for her & she is taking full advantage of you. She has NO reason to get offended.

I know she likes those wierd type edits. And I really should have expected it from her. I will probably say something along those lines.
