Babies are hard work! I took a few snap shots for my friend and this baby was a little chunk a 3 month old.

I'm sure it's just the weather! I feel like your specialty is outdoors so everyone is probably waiting for warm weather :)

What kind of tips? That's such a broad question.
Well, do you own a DSLR yet? Do you know how to use it? That's the first step. Learn your camera in manual & not auto. & Practice, practice, practice. I wouldn't be getting backdrops & all that yet if you don't have your DSLR yet.

Def a very broad question (as stated above). What do you have already as far as equipment? Do you have a DSLR? If so what kind and what lenses? Or have you ever used one? Can you work the camera in manual? If not that's your first step. Learn your cameras settings. Learn what ISO, shutter speed, and aperture are and how they work together.

Once you've figured that out (and that just takes practice really) start by using natural light and then learning artificial light (that worked best for me).

Backdrops depend on what you're using them for. Typically about the size of a blanket works but again it's going to depend what they're for. But also like said above I wouldn't be buying that stuff yet. If work on getting good equipment first.

It's easier to give advise and answer questions though when you have specific questions.

I made small talk, got her a water to have when she finished, & folded up props I was done with & stuff (while still engaging in conversation with her) so she didn't feel awkward at any point.

Thank you!! :) I love the hats too!! I had this cute bird nest to go with the bird hat but he was way too big & hated it. I couldn't figure out a way to make it work :/ lol. But I did get one of his head resting on the edge of the nest. I'm not sure I loved it though. I still have a lot of editing to do.
