They all seem to have a purpleish tint to me.
Adorable, but very purple.

The first one is precious :)

i think it may be the action, maybe, I used the same action on all of them. The Adeline from PTM. Any tips on how to fix the purple? These aren't raw well maybe the basket one is raw but the other two def aren't

I know that the Adeline gives a purple tint because the background in the top one is a black and white background, so maybe just erase the action off her skin?

I would just run the action at a lower opacity :)

Quoting l☮j:" Can anyone tell me where I could get a light and stand like this, that doesn't have to be plugged in ... [snip!] ... this would be really convenient. I keep looking on ebay but I'm getting confused, and I can't find a stand over 33" tall :?"

Ive been wondering the same thing too, I keep trying to find same thing but cant find one anywhere! I thought I saw one on craigslist but then it ended up just being a normal umberalla light.
I think that you can just get extensions for stands, and build them up. But I have no clue on where to find a light that doesnt need a plug :?

With those kinds of actions they're meant to play with. You pretty much always have to make some sort of adjustment to fit the image. I go in through the layer groups and hit the little eye on each layer to see the different looks each gives. If I don't like something or feel it's too strong I'll either delete it completely or lower the opacity. If I just want to adjust a specific part of the photo but all the layers are fine, I'll mask it off.

You just have to play around to find what you like and works for each individual photo. :)

It seems like it'd be so convenient!
At first I thought maybe he had an external power source but I don't see any cords at all. And thats a behind the scenes shot

So you ladies that do little sessions with backdrops and all, do you do them in your home or do you have a studio?

I'd like to start portfolio building and I would love to try for studio work for infants and newborns at some point but I have no idea where to even start. Backdrops, blankets, and props are so expensive. I probably won't get more serious about it until summer but it's something I have been considering.

Anyhow this is a post and run question, I'm off to bed!

i don't do sessions for anybody but family and I'm also not great, but I got a cheap lighting and backdrop with stands on ebay and I use a lot of curtains. My mom moves a lot and redecorates every time so I steal her old curtains. The easter picture I posted was on a curtain panel.
