I think I saw something about this off of a designers site I follow. Obviously it's having to do with Autism awareness but what is it all about, if you don't mind me asking? I am curious. :)

Did you use a box color? Like the powder stuff? If you try again don't do as much as the instructions say to put in it. And don't let it set the whole time. Check on it several times and take it out when it gets to the color you want.

Also about the DIY stand. Idk where to find a tutorial but I just kind of put mine together with what I had here and I had to buy one extra piece of pvc. I used 1 1/2 in pipe. As long as the measurements match up on each side you can make it as tall/wide as you want it. Idk if this helps but I used 2 - 52in long pieces. one for the top and one in the middle (horizontal) for extra support. Then I used 2 pieces on each side (left and right) for the height of the stand (b/c I put an extra support piece in the middle) and then 2 pieces for the bottom of the legs going out in front and in back of the stand so it will stand up. Plus you'll need your attachment pieces to put it all together. If you kind of draw it out it's easier to figure it out.

ETA: I found this http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/08/23/build-your-own-photo-booth/#axzz2PBa4yjWw (for whatever reason it won't let me post as an active link). It's almost exactly what I done.

I used liquid Rit dye. Their thing said 1tbs of color per cup for the color I wanted.. We used 13 cups of water and only 4 tbs of color.

I also wanted gray so I used black with their formula. It turned lavender.... I'm pretty pissed both came out wrong. I am now attempting to turn it black.

They should have a grey dye. I use their powder though not the liquid. But one think I learned from decorating cakes is black dye is deep purple. Black is a VERY hard color to get and it's hard to get grey from black coloring bc it tends to turn purple and it's hard to get black sometimes because you end up with a super dark purple instead of black.

They had a pearl grey but I didn't like the look of it. and the second dye I did it turned dark purple. I had to due it 3 times.

Quoting l☮j:" Okay, a question for the professionals. When you give your clients the photos, in whatever way that ... [snip!] ... not upset or anything, she tagged me for taking them. But I'd like to know the protocol for if I ever go into business one day."

I give my clients all the edited pictures they see in their gallery in web-size (with digital use only rights) and my logo/website on it in a corner. These web sized pictures can be shared on Facebook and anywhere else they want to share them. This CD is always part of their photo shoot package.

The full-sized digital files they get from me or have ordered from me do not have my logo on them. I don't say they can not use them online but do point out they are huge files (usually around 15 MB each) and will take forever to upload so if they want to share pictures online, it's better to use the already prepared web-sized files.

This is what I have printed in the card that the CD is put into:

"Thank you for your photo shoot with Cheryle Kupsch Photography!

You will find all your edited pictures on the enclosed CD. The pictures are saved twice: Once in high resolution for printing and once in low resolution for digital use (e.g. Facebook, e-mails, saving to your iphone etc.)

Terms and Conditions:
o You are allowed to produce prints/canvases/ etc. from the high resolution files
o You are allowed to use the files to produce personal photo calendars, greeting cards etc.
o You are allowed to use the low resolution files online (if possible with a link to www.cherylekupschphotography.de)
o You are allowed to share the low resolution files per e-mail
o You are not allowed to do any farther editing or changes to the files without permission from Cheryle Kupsch.

Please note: All the files are in the original format that my camera produces (2:3).
That means that prints in another format (e.g. 5x7) will automatically cut off parts of the picture. If you need help for preparing prints with a different format than 2:3, please contact me. "

On the CD I have two files. One file is "high resolution" and one is "web-sized".

In the web-sized file I have a PDF explaining what the terms and conditions are for web use.

In the high-resolution file I have two PDFs. One explains and shows with examples how pictures will print out if printing sizes different than the 2:3 format that the digital files are in. And one is the terms and conditions for using the high resolution files.

Quoting Mrs.Dani:" Anyone have good links for a DIY PVC pipe newborn backdrop stand? I'm trying to search for one but I can't get one with exact measurements and how to put it together."

I made the one that was posted by someone in here. I posted pictures once on a blog post: http://www.cherylekupschphotography.de/2012/12/newborn-posing-background-stand/ And there is a link to the pinterest picture with in detail instructions on that blog post. I adapted the sizes though to what I needed for my trampoline/puck set up that I have in the studio.
