I know this has been asked before but where is your favorite places to get backdrops for newborns? Would fleece fabric be ideal?

I've been just using regular blankets with knit patterns on them in full size. They turn out really pretty, IMO.

I don't think fleece would be ideal, unless you have someone there to keep it pulled REALLY taught across the surface

Fleece gets really bad fuzz balls after only a few washes. I just like blankets with textures, like cable knit throws or something like this.

Or I have this in three different colors that I think would be cute.

You can look around at Home Goods or Ross...they have really cheap blankets like that.

Ah, makes sense. I wonder about this?

It's rib knit fabric? I'm trying to find fabrics I can buy by the yard rather than spending $40 on a blanket :/ lol I'm being cheap but after spending $200 on the posey pillow & filling I'm just really not wanting to spend that much more.

Oh :(. I don't know what I'd do without those stores. There might be something similar in your area, though.

Okay good! I have a dark grey wrap & a yellow headband & I thought maybe this would be cute with them. Only $5.20 per yard!
