It's an old lighthouse that they're trying to get rid of, because no one has the money to do the upkeep. :x

I have a Kodak Z712 IS & a Nikon Cool Pix S220. I also use my iPhone 4s a lot to take pics. I love to edit them too. I hope to get a really nice camera & lens when I have the money. I love taking pics of my kids, animals & nature. I can't even tell you how many SD cards & USB memory devices I have full of pics.

Just a Nikon Cool Pix S4000 point-n-shoot here, and my cell phone does takes some pretty amazing pictures. Professional I am not, just an avid amateur, one who is fairly obsessed with taking pictures of clouds/the sky and my daughter :)

I am highly interested in learning how to take even better shots. I plan to purchase an SLR in the next 6 months or so, so hopefully I can pick up some great tips here in the meantime.

I'm Karyn and here are a few of my favorites taken with the above cameras:

I always love you pics! I hope I can work my way up to where you are! :) First step get my 50mm 1.8 lens. :x My husband has seriously spent enough of his ecig crap (he is now obsessed) that I could get it and extras on amazon!

I suck compared to some of these girls on here. haha.

And yes. Definitely get the 50mm. If you can afford it, get the 1.4, but if not the 1.8 is wonderful as well.

That lizard has crazy cool eyes!

How much did that camera cost, do you remember? I've been wanting to get a point and shoot for hauling around to the park and stuff... my camera's too big.
