What Brandi said and it's a bit too much contrast it looks like.

What is that rose fabric called? I looked at Hobby Lobby and they have about 14 million categories of fabric!

Also, what are your favorite "staple" colors for BG blankets for newborns?

Rosette Fabric. The soft kind is minky rosette. If you wanna be tempted: http://www.fabric.com/SearchResults2.aspx?Source=Header&SearchText=rosette&CategoryID=1d5f47dc-9991-4088-93f3-26a376046a5e

Colors.. Gray, White/Cream, Tan, Light Pink, Light/medium blue. But your neutrals are the key things.. then maybe a couple of gender specific colors. I have a lot I've bought that just didn't work. Pale colors normally tend to work best. I've had some darker ones and then I end up hating them. The only one I really liked was the darker purple.

The rosette will be specific for this because mom wants it. But I have a grey blanket, a dark dark grey blanket, a tan burlap looking blanket and a tan striped fleece blanket. I think I might also get a cream colored one too.

I need a better gray and purple fabric. These were so thin. I didn't think they'd turn out that bad.

Definitely a white or cream. It is always popular for me.

Yeah thicker and knits are better.. fuzzy blankets are nice since they really don't show wrinkles. Anything that is woven and especially thin is going to wrinkle up like crazy.

I like darker gray and darker purple! Lol. Those look like they would be a bitch to keep unwrinkled.

I like very very plain for newborns.

Another question.... Mom wants the picture of the baby in the combat helmet..... How do I even do that??

Not gonna lie, it grosses me out. I have my ACH and it's disgusting....

It would need to be a composite of multiple shots. Probably at least 3. Shot of the helmet by itself and then a couple of shots of baby in it with hands in various places keeping them up. They would have to be VERY VERY asleep.
