This is probably a stupid question, but do they make any sort of light that can attach to a tripod?

Well I guess it depends on the screw size on top of the tripod but they have screw on hot shoe adapters.

Well it's just good to keep in mind that eyes in the top third is preferable to eyes in the middle. They're fine :) But that's the reason I chose the second.

I think you've been improving rapidly! I know it's harder inside - I'd like to maybe see some variation in crop/composition but if you're shooting on a crop sensor 50mm indoors, I know that's tricky in a lot of homes. :) But I think you're really on the right track.
