This is my first pregnancy.. So I'm worried. EmmaRitchie :) Australia 106 posts

hey :)
I am just wondering did anybody else suffer from headaches, body aches, cramps, crying and have no energy one day then having heaps of energy the next?

Some days I get a really bad headache in the temples and above and behind the right eye.. and I just cry sometimes for no reason. Is this normal? I feel like I'm going insane :/
Other days I feel like I have so much energy. Even if I haven't had that much sleep.
I don't get morning sickness.. yet haha :) but I'm waiting for it.. some days I get a water mouth and yuck tummy but it goes as quick as it comes.

I also sometimes get grumpy at night when my partner rolls onto my side of the bed lol, I know how trivial it all sounds but ever since I found out I was pregnant, I like my space and sometimes dont want to feel cuddled cause i'm hot or cant get comfortable.. OR HE SNORES! which never annoyed me ever before this pregnancy :)
I feel so up and down emotionally and physically! What's going on???

Completely normal. Especially at 8 weeks with the headaches, tiredness and irritability.

Yep, that all sounds normal and should hopefully let up some very soon.

First trimester is a b***h.
Drink more water, and rest whenever you can. 2nd trimester will be better!

A friend of mine didn't get morning sickness but she had migraines so bad that she could barely move for both of her pregnancies.

I was only sick on 2 occasions but felt disgusting whenever I smelled cooking meat (except chicken for some reason) for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. And I would pretty much cry all night when my partner would take up the whole bed. I barely fit in the bed even now once he gets comfortable in the middle of it because it's a double and when he falls asleep he stays that way until his alarm goes off in the morning. It was really crap when I also needed the body pillow because I couldn't be comfortable without it but it also couldn't stay on the bed while I was on the edge as it was. Men huh...

Quoting Bettinas:" A friend of mine didn't get morning sickness but she had migraines so bad that she could barely move ... [snip!] ... I couldn't be comfortable without it but it also couldn't stay on the bed while I was on the edge as it was. Men huh..."

I feel so mean when I have to yell at him to move over.. but its got to be done!!
trust me when I say.. he wakes up ;)
I'm the same with all food! My other half will make a beautiful dinner and it'll be what I wanted but as soon as its in front of me, i refuse to eat it on the fact that i cant stomach all the smells. But other foods I cant help but devour!
at the moment im onto the salty plain chippies and oranges :) not to mention I am so off chocolate! :/ NOT LIKE ME AT ALL.
I just want to wake up for one morning and not be headachy..
The other half works from 7 in the morning to 5 at night, so im alone.. usually i would be at work but im recovering from a nasty car accident.. cant wait to go back to work :) Maybe the accident is also the reason why i feel like poo on toast..
Thankgod babv wasnt hurt :)
