Good luck regarding the results of the 24-hr urine. Pre-e is the devil... It truly is.

back from my OB appointment. he was really nice. I actually like him lol. he delivers at the hospital that i wanted to rather than the one down the road. (thats a plus really) my urine came back good today so no protein no uti. hes gotta get all my records from my other ob sent over but today we discussed the general stuff and everything seems great. next week he wants to do a routine nst which i have never actually done besides being in labor and being monitored. he does them for all his patients between 28-32 weeks and again around 37-38 weeks. also he did a quick ultrasound and my daughter is headdown and very comfortable LOL. she wouldnt show us her face (she was turned toward my left side and had her hands over her face. which makes the hipbone punches/headbutts accurate lol. but everything looked perfect. im so relieved honestly... and this doctor office is really good with my insurance (they mostly take people with medicaid in general) so i am hoping not to have any more problems.

Likely just a stomach bug IMO. I think the diarrhea as a "sign" of labor is an old wives tale honestly.

well i have no pain really or throwing up or anythign that would make it seem like a bug.... but my doctor asked to stop taking my gummy prenatals because it could be the reason why. (something about it containing sorbitel and that can be a laxative.

Whelp, officially diagnosed with "mild" preeclampsia. I'm on hospital bed rest for now. They want to monitor me as an inpatient because of my previous loss history. My 24 hour urine came back not good, but my other bloodwork is good for now. I got the bad swelling, high pressures, headache...

Hoping to make it to 37 weeks but preparing for possibility of a premie. I'm concerned about her growth. They did a scan yesterday that put her at 5lbs at 34w4d and she was 4lbs 14oz at 31w and something. Not much of a gain. Dropped from in the 70 something percentile to 30 something now.

Aww man:( I was so hoping you'd have better results! Pre-eclampsia is just one of those things that sucks and there's nothing you did to even bring it on. I had pre-e with my first baby as well and she was born just shy of 36 weeks at 5lbs 5oz. She didnt have to spend any time in the NICU and is now a happy & healthy 3-yr old. Hoping the same for you. But regardless of what happens, I'll be thinking of you and hoping all goes well with you and baby! Please keep us updated!

I lost my first daughter to negligent drs and preeclampsia.

I'm very happy being monitored in the hospital. I feel like a doofus though. I forgot to pack freaking underwear. Lol.

After I posted my last comment, I read your profile and saw your memorial for your LO. I'm very sorry for your loss. Pre-e is nothing to be negligent about and I've heard too many sad stories of losses due to negligent doctors. With my first baby k couldn't understand the big deal about the pre-e symptoms and why all of a sudden They felt I needed to deliver. Now that I've been more informed and experienced how traumatic and serious pre-e can be ( with my second child), I feel like I need to tell everyone about pre-e and advocate for close monitoring/action to be taken when things get worse.
I'm glad you're being monitored closely. With my first, I was not happy about all the tests and the fuss made. This time around, I was like, do what you need to do and quickly. I'll be thinking of you! As for underwear- I did the same thing! They have me those mesh type undies ( not the very gigantic ones... These were more like undies)

Hey guys! Been a month or so since i popped in. Wish I had a computer, I would have been able to keep up better! Just wanted to see how everyone is doing and feeling. I had a level 2 ultrasound today and got to get some 3d pictures. I was referred to maternal fetal medicine because my ob saw enlarged kidneys. The hospital I went to today said they're in the normal range and not to worry. Everyone getting excited?

Thank you! She will be coming at the same gestation as Peyton did. :) While no one wants them to come early it's a good area for me!

Aww sorry mama that sucks. But I am really glad they're monitoring you closely and you're in the hospital should something arise.

Fingers cross it stays mild as long as possible!
