Love your son's name, too.

How tall are you?
I'm 5"1 and I already hurt lol. Maybe I'm just a big bampy baby about it though. I would be willing to try going over due if my OB would allow it. but he says the risk of still birth goes up a lot and he pretty much never likes people to do it.
IIn my case I have some risk factors that justify a repeat CS but if I were a good candidate for a vbac and perfectly healthy I'd be trying to wait for labor to start on it's own even if I went a bit over due.

Lucky you lol. Apparently I'm not cut out for natural child birth because my pelvic bone is far too small. This is what my OB says anyway.

I don't know about that. I guess its possible but when I hear about OBs saying that I really wonder if its because they don't know how else to help mom labor. I mean you can labor in different positions to open up your pelvis more which would really help if you think you might have a "small" pelvis. laying on your back and laboring is NOT the ideal position at all

I think he was afraid of being sued more than anything. Sad, really.

yea that seems to be a huge problem with doctors now. scared of malpractice suits and all. I mean I purposely looked for a doctor who was cool with how I wanted to labor and was recommended by a midwife while I was pregnant with 3rd because I hated how my labors went with my 1st and 2nd. I am not seeing him now but this other doctor seems to be cool with what I want to do. I am hoping to have a fast labor like with my fourth and I will get to the hospital and only have enough time for the doctor to play catch LOL (that's how my fourth was)

So l&d isn't busy today so they bumped me from starting my induction this evening to this morning. Packing up our room here and starting soon.

Suddenly super nauseous and more nervous.

Well. No induction. There was some severe miscommunication about what meds would be used for an induction that we are not comfortable with using. They only have cytotec when were told they also had cervidil. I will NOT have cytotec.

So csection this afternoon after 3pm when anesthesia is free.
