Work has been going well. I'm considering putting in my notice, though. There is so much going on.

I use Target diapers or the Huggies Snug N Dry. I have experienced leaking with Pampers and Luvs.

That would be a big change, would you be able to be a SAHM or would you look for something different and less consuming?

I personally only really like to use Pampers (they have the little line that turns blue when baby has a wet diaper which is really cool.) Pampers don't leak much for me, I also use Luvs and the Target/Walgreen brands. I hate Huggies, when DS came home all I used were Huggies and he was always having leaks!

We switched back to the huggies little snugglers and they haven't leaked yet BUT he hasn't had a big poop yet either. lol But I ordered 10 or 11 cloth diapers so that we can switch back to those while at home or when I have him. He'll only be in sposies when he's being baby sat.

How do cloth diapers work? I'm interested in them but they seem like a lot of work!

They really aren't, what do you want to know exactly? We use pockets which is a shell that you stuff and insert into and then when you take it off, you pull the insert out and throw it into the pail until wash day. I wash usually every other day. Cold wash no soap, hot was soap, then usually 2 rinses and pop em in the drier.

What brand do you use? And are they really cheaper? My son goes through diapers soooooo fast! I've seen the Charlie Banana ones in Target but they're like $100.

They're on sale right now for like $8.50 a piece!! I WISH we had a target close by, I'd be all over that. lol They're usually like $16. Anyway like 95% of my stash are Sunbaby, they're like $6 maybe? They just fit Jace so well. I also have Alva that are a little cheaper but I don't really like them, can't get a good fit really because my kids weird shaped. lol I just spend maybe $70 on 10 diapers and maybe 14 inserts and that will last a day and a half maybe (I'm gonna buy more when I get extra cash lol) but the boxes of diapers we buy are $25 and only last like 3 weeks so if you add that up, it totally saves money.

We've considered me staying at home. We would have to find a cheaper place, though.

Moving sucks, but it maybe worth it to simplify your life and be able to spend time with the babies ;) we budget big time to live off one salary but to us the kids being at home with us is worth it- it's not for everyone though.. My hubby often talks about going back to work. But then he realizes exactly what that would mean and how hard it would be on our family.

I'd do the charle bananas probably over cheapies if you get them on clearance!!! I don't think of it as more work. The more dipes you have te less work it is cause you do laundry less. When dd was a nb I only had enough for one day so I washed daily. Now I only wash twice a week. I have a large upright hamper and put a pail liner in it so I don't have to wash it out I can throw the liner in with the wash.

I have about every type of dipe possible lol!!

You can go reaaaaaly cheap and use receiving blankets as flats and you'd only need to buy enough wipeable covers to get you through however many days you wanna do laundry. They're did prices depending on what kind you want. If you watch cottonbabies they usually have sales. Econobum, flip, and tiny tush are the most common ones for under $15. I have tiny tush and a flip cause I got the flip through a trade and I got the tiny tush for 6.50 from a lady closing her online store. But they're gonna now :( but the tiny tush website has them but they're pricier. If you can find used that's best.

But I also have wahm dipes, AI2, pockets, and fitteds. You could also get some fitteds from wahms and use those with wipeable covers. I like Adrianna's converted prefolds. She's on BG and FB. http://m.facebook.com/AdriannaKnits?id=122442384493118&refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.adriannaknits.com%2F&_rdr
