I drank sweet tea every day. And my baby is just fine.

Nobody ever told me not to drink it. So I don't know if you aren't suppose to. But I did with LO

Regular tea is just fine. I've had a cold for over a week. I called my mid-wife and the first thing she recommended was drinking hot tea. It has helped a lot and I'm finally feeling better.

Go and enjoy your tea! Hope you feel better!

I've been sick since last Wednesday too. Drinking hot tea on and off has helped me greatly. Hope it helps!

Tea contains caffeine which can be responsible for low birth weight however health ad visors recommend no more than four cups of medium strength tea in a day. I personally stay away from it and drink herbal but it is a personal choice. Just dont over do it

There are some herbal teas that they say you should not drink or drink often. Have you some tea, girl.

Peppermint is actually NOT safe. It can cause premature labor!

My doc actually told me to drink tea to keep the swelling in my feet down so I am sure it is safe.

Caffeine in tea is slow releasing because the caffeine is locked away by other bits and pieces in it (depending on the type of tea). Just dont drink tea by the bucket load and bubs should be fine.
I have had to swap to tea, since my 5-8 coffees a day would be a bit of a problem
:(
