You are so right, and I thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I go to my first ultrasound on Tuesday, and it's funny because I keep telling the people that know of my pregnancy that I don't know what I'm going to do yet, when in the back of my mind I know for a fact that I want to keep the baby. Once I see that ultrasound I know i'm going to become much more attached. I can't wait.

As soon as I saw the heartbeat I couldn't help but cry, I was so relieved my baby was there and ok :D

I won't be able to hear the heart beat my first ultrasound, right? Or will I?

It depends how far gone you are. I couldn't hear it at the first ultrasound but i could see it beating away :)

I find out how far I am on Tuesday! My doctor said I could be anywhere from 3-7 weeks! I'm excited. I'm just going to try to swallow my fear.

You can't actually hear it until 10-11 wks I believe. You can see it on U/S starting around.

<3 thats exactly what they all did to me, and i was like "yeah i havent made a decision... " lol but i already knew i would keep her. one day i just told them all "ya know? i dont want an abortion.. im gonna keep the baby"... they werent mad but they tried to tell me all the pros and cons (mostly cons) of the choice i had made... i just let it go in one ear and out the other. eventaully (soon after) they were all so excited for me. just like you have to adjust when you find out youre prego for the first time, they are trying to adjust to the idea of you being pregnant lol... but in the end all that matters is how you adjust and your decision... im glad your gonna do whats best for you. you will be an awesome mommy.

most people I know only get 2-3 the whole pregnancy! but I know if you're high risk & etc. you tend to get more
