when to start things like gerber graduates??? Princess P's Mommy 1 child; Waxhaw, North Carolina 275 posts

i'll be honest here i'm probably making myself sound like an idiot but whatever

how do you know when your baby is ready for gerber graduates things.
i know it says for toddlers but i was wondering what age people started their babies on things like them.

like the lil crunchies they're basically like cheeto puffs but made by gerber they have cheese veggie dip and tangy tomato

or the little rice wheels

just different things like that

i was wondering when peyton could start them i know shes only 7 months old but i didnt know what would qualify as 'toddler enough' to start things like that....

We did puffys at 6 mos. By 9 mos my daughter was totaly on table foods so that is when we started everything else.

ya i gave my guy the snacky foodsbaby mum-mums (im not sure if those are here) and other baby biscuits and puffs at around 6 months. he had a couple teeth by then, and they're really soft so they're easy for him to eat.
they say toddler just to keep their butts incheck incase something does happen to a less then toddler child. id say its fine. give her a coiple and watch how she eats them, if shes fine, then continue, if she seems to have a hard time then wait a bt longer

okay thanks!
i bought some for peyton a while ago and wanted to try them with her but my husband freaked out haha.
and then i forgot them at work and my sister in law has used them up for her son! so i bought peyton the veggie ones today and tried them and she loves them, i think she'll be fine as long as i watch her close.

i started puffs around 7 months i think and i would break all the edges off so she had 5 little pieces, then when she hit 81/2months i started giving them to her whole....and the meals...i started around 8 1/2 months...i just gave her the stars and the pasta with chicken cut up cause those were easy to swallow and now she's 10 months and mostly on table food....she snacks on cheerios damn near all day lol and i also give her the lunchables jr with the turkey (she doesnt like the ham one and neither do ilol) and i started those around 8 1/2 months also and just cut the turkey in half and now she eats them whole....ok im done rambling lol

i started my son on stage three some of them at eight months or so it all depends on the child when my son (with no teeth) took a bite out of a pickle and ripped a piece off i figured he was ready to start "chewing" soft foods :) good luck mommy you will know if she is ready or not just try them and see thats all you can really do is try and see

We did Rice Rusks at 6 months..I think those were the only "snacks" she got until she was 8 or 9 months old..then we started buying Gerber Graduate Snacks.

At 10 months I started feeding her Gerber Graduate foods cause she could eat 2-3 containers of stage 2 food and not get full and really didn't like the stage 3 food, then could eat half of my dinner too.. She seemed to love them :)

I started buying the Gerber Graduate foods and she got full :)

At 11 months.. She decided she would become picky.. So finding foods for her to eat is a challenge now.. She won't touch the Gerber Graduate food or any baby food (except fruit). She doesn't want to eat off my plate either..

We started to give Sumer the puffs around 6-7 months. She's 9 months now and we started to get those little containers of Gerber Graduate meals....like the cheese raveoli. I still cut it up in to small pieces though. We also got her some yougert puffs. They're a little big so I break them into pieces. We're letting her have more table food now.

I started letting Lorelai try the Gerbers Puffs about 7 months old. I haven't tried any of the other graduates stuff yet.
