Questionable Gender Tiffany Hafner Due January 26 (girl); 1 child; York, Pennsylvania 29 posts

I went to the doctors the other day and they told me a whole other due date so then im a whole week behind then what I thought I was, also they said they couldnt see any sex parts... she says she didnt totally want to say it was a girl bc she didnt see any boy parts. This is my second pregnancy I have a boy and I knew when I had an ultrasound with him what he was his sac was there and you could see everything. With this was there was nothing between "her" legs. My gut says im having a girl. I thought that since I found out I was pregnant. I'm really not sure what to take about her not seeing any sex parts... what are your thoughts??

I wouldn't trust it until about 20 weeks. But it could possibly be a girl. My due date changed all the time with DD. I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought I was 12 weeks, went in for an ultra sound and they said she's 9 weeks! Even though 3 weeks before that I went to the ER for bleeding and they did an ultra sound and said she was measuring at 9 weeks then too! But since the ER is 'not official' whatever that means they pushed me back 3 weeks. So I guess she stopped growing for 3 weeks? But I'm 32 weeks now and she's still measuring small.... But they better not push it back again -_-

They told me they thought she was a girl like 17 weeks, they didn't confirm it till 22, my 1st was a boy and I was like 12 or 13 weeks u could see it right away... jade had her legs closed so with her legs closed we couldn't see anything... when they finall saw the 3 lines she had her feet by her ears, she was sitting straight up, breech, *she's been a pain in the butt ever since"

I can understand give or take a few days but a whole week! and they even told me that "she" was weighing 9oz. i just dont get it. I found out with Chase that he was a boy when I was 14 Weeks along. and you could clearly see his sac and p***s. this time it just seemed like she was in a rush and didnt even take time to look into it. it really pissed me off.

I would try not to worry until you get an official diagnosis. They may just need to take anther look. Most babies are born either clearly boy or clearly girl.

Some children are born with ambiguous genitalia, so the parents don't know if they are a boy or a girl until they are older. These children are sometimes called "Intersex". It is usually not a physical health issue but parents and family will need support in figuring out how to parent an intersex child. And as kids get older they may also need councelling/support.

I really have my hopes up for a GIRL so im hoping shes right since you couldnt see a sac. but I guess we will have to wait and see. I have my regular OB appt tomorrow so im gonna try to get her to look really quick and see what she thinks. so we will have to wait and see what happens. :/

Thank you! I really want a girl. I have a boy so a little pink would be nice around the house! I just dont get how I can be measuring differently when my OB does it then the hospital or maternal fetal medicine does it. I'ts just sooo weird.

A whole week is nothing. My due date changed so much, they were 3 weeks apart on a couple of them. If its not more then 2 weeks, don't worry about it.
