My little guy is.trying to sleep and woke with a fever of 102.0 by armpit . When is it to high ? He is three next month

anything over 104 is what my pedi told me

I think it's 104. If it gets there or higher get him to the ER.

If I recall 104 and not going down with tylenol or if it lasts for 3 days? But my pedi said anything over 103 that persists for more than a day is usually some kind of infection, so that would at least be drs office worthy.

That's kinda high, have u medicated him yet?? Id give tylenol and motrin and give a cool/barley warm shower.

No it's over 100.4 you should call the hospital to make sure

100.4 is hardly a fever :-)



OP, anything above 104 warrents a call, although they cant really do anything. All they will do is give him a mixture of tylenol and motrin. Talking from experience lol. I have taken my daugther with a 105.8 fever and they gave her the coctail mixture and sent us on our marry way.

My cousin (nurse) told me anything over 103 under the arm if Tylenol or Motrin doesn't bring it down

i think the temp dnt matter its how they feel my daughter was been feverish 100- 102 and is playing and eating i give her advil and put wash clothes on her forehead its been on and off since aug 21 doc cant really say whats wrong just thats its a viral and cant do much but let the body fight it :cry: at night is when she gets all uncomfertable

DD runs at 99.9 and if she even gets a slight cold, she pushed 100+. So, by your doctor's logic, every time she gets as cold, I am supposed to take her to the hospital?

This is for a baby under 3 months old. After that a higher fever can be tolerated. :)

I don't know why but my bg is acting weird . My thing is usually a mommy to a third and all my profile stuff is weird ! Anyways I gave him some equate Tylenol stuff so I hope that works . I was just at the hospital for my two month having a fever so I'm worried

maybe you missunderstood, a fever of 100.4 barly gets a child sent home from daycare.
