I'm 17 weeks pregnant, and I have a really short torso. (im only like 5'3) My ribs already hurt so badly that the only relief I get is from constantly being stretched out..is anyone else going through this?

I'm only 5'3", and have a super short torso, as well. I'm having to lay on the floor and stretch out several times a day. Bras kill me. My poor ribs :(

I'm 17 weeks today and its not bothering me yet (I'm 5'3" as well). This is also my 3rd though so maybe it's just not as bad.

It gets bad for me the last trimester for sure!

I am 5'4 and have a short torso. When I was prenant I had the same problem. Once I hit 32+ weeks my son loved having his feet in my ribs. Ended up having bruised ribs till the end of my pregnancy. I put warm(not hot) compresses on them and it really helped.

This is my second pregnancy and it really sucks that it started so early this time! I had the same pain with my first, but it didnt start until later. Gahh I'm just in so much pain right now.

I'm surprised you're not feeling worse. My third was bad, this is my fourth and it started much earlier. She's already made a home in my ribs. Ouch

That happened to me once! I toppled over quite a few times from the pain.

I amwith the rest of you having a short torso. I am 5' 2" and 14 weeks and I look like I am at least 20 weeks or more. I already have trouble finding comfortable positions to sleep at night. This is my second baby and I did not have these problems at all with him, and he was even born 7 weeks early. I just hope that with me being this big already is not a sign of me going to have a big baby.

I dont think thats a sign that you're going to have a big baby. I had this pain before, & my daughter was only 6lbs 9oz.

Try a pregnancy ball and see if that helps
